And I pick up my violin each day, never thinking or rarely thinking about the work that went into what is a very good medium-grade/mid level violin. It might not be a Guarneri or a Stradivarius but it is all mine and she sings when I can make her sing.
Will you please get a friendly violinist to play some music on your violin on camera so we, who also play our violins can hear this one? I completely enjoyed watching your video. You are awesome. God bless you!
Another masterpiece! I can only imagine the amount of production work you put into your video creations from lighting and shadows, to camera angles and very shallow depth of field - so well thought out and executed. My favorite tool is the tiny plane 21:18 . My favorite still shot (converted to greyscale with gamma adjustment) is pouring the glue crystals 5:15 . Thank you for posting and I'm really looking forward to Part 2.
Great video! Do you purposefully orient the grain on the corner blocks so that the mortise for the linings is at 90 degrees to the growth rings? (at 37:30)
What kind of saw do you use to cut the rib wood from the raw block? I have used a western rip saw, but I’m wondering if there’s a more efficient saw. Thank you.
The thickness of the ribs are 1mm. The corner blocks are defined by the Form, and you can go check out the video on Templates and Form for that: ua-cam.com/video/snduy5hrHG4/v-deo.html
Those are only some few images of the construction of a violin, No real time; No real images; NO NOGTHIG IS LIKE AN DIVERTIMENT WITHOUT NOTHING INSIDE¡¡¡¡
What if I tell you there is no fast forward at 5:40?
Thank you so much for all the time and effort you have put into this. The video was fascinating, I am really looking forward to following along.
Thanks, glad that you enjoyed it. Been working hard on next video!
@@MekwokStudio Great, really looking forward to it.

Incredible! You deserve more subscribers, and they will come with more of these great videos
Thanks! Been working on it!

This video teach us the artisan's invisible effort, I guess.

Thanks, Stradivari did this in some of his violins, so I follow the path. But it won’t affect the tone quality.
Awesome dear
Thank you
Que maravilha
hello, is there a video of how you take the whole thing out of the mold?
Yes
hello, what file do you use for the corner blocks?
Just a big one with a round surface!
What kind of saw do you use to cut the rib wood from the raw block? I have used a western rip saw, but I’m wondering if there’s a more efficient saw. Thank you.
I used to use a rip saw too, but I found that there is an all purpose saw, and yes it is more efficient.
Something like this: amzn.to/3CPdK9q
Thank you for your generosity 🦬
I've tried different saws . So far an old fashioned 24inch rip saw is the best for me . Put up a comment if you find something better .
How do you remove the mould from the rib structure with both the upper and lower linings in place ?
Just hammer it out. There is space.
❤❤❤
Hi, thank you very much for sharing! What plane do you use exactly?
Thanks! You mean block plane or finger planes?
@@MekwokStudio I, myself, was interested in your block plane.
@@zaraak323i the block plane was a lie nielsen high angle block plane
@@avatrix5322 I thought it might be, but I really couldn't tell.
@@zaraak323i actually, now that ive lookedat it closer, it doesnt seem to be LN, there isnt a logo on the cap iron
Muito bom!
Thank you!
How can we draw and prepare the mould or template. Can you make a video explaining this?
Yes, glad that you asked! Here's the video:
ua-cam.com/video/snduy5hrHG4/v-deo.html
where can i get the dimensions for the corner blocks and the wall thickness of the ribs?
The thickness of the ribs are 1mm. The corner blocks are defined by the Form, and you can go check out the video on Templates and Form for that: ua-cam.com/video/snduy5hrHG4/v-deo.html
how are you supposed to take the template out of the lining is glued on both sides?
Just pound it out, there’s enough space.
When are you going to post part 2?
I’m going to post it now. Happy Pi Day!

Desesperante.
