Mark reminds me of Scooby Doo in that he'll do anything for a beer just like Scooby Doo would do anything for a Scooby Snack. In this case, the only reason he'll kill zombies is that because they ate the bartender's brains and now he wouldn't serve him beer. :)
Between this and the original RDR I've spend more time in the RDR universe than any other game! I can't seem to be able to tear myself away! despite having done virtually everything there is to do many times over! it'll be a mainstay in my gaming schedule for along time to come!
Wow, great review. The only issues I found with this were the undead horses... Since they seem pretty much bent on throwing me off cliffs... And the lack of undead freeroam in multiplayer. All in all, this was a great review, and I'ma subscribe... Oh, and screw them sasquaches. They eat babies. ... Still waitin' on that service, huh?
RDR took me 15 hours or so to complete, mainly cause of "distractions" in game, Undead Nightmare took me 10 hours to complete. BEST DLC i've EVER bought!
This is an excellent add on. Rockstar should have done a zombie add on for GTA4, that would have been superrrrrrr fun!!!! Mowing down zombies in times square with a muscle car :)
I LOVED Red Dead Redemption. It's one of the best games I've ever played, if not the best. Is Undead Nightmare really as good as I hear it is? I'm thinking about buying the dlc.
When playing Red dead redemption: Undead Nightmare, I strongly recommend that you switch your target mode to the lowest level. It automatically locks onto the head, thus keeping you from wasting dead eye.
Mark, how do you find the time to play all of these games and still manage to be awesome? I already have troubles trying to be awesome, and than playing games just makes it impossible.
I have the main game, but i haven't yet completed the campaign, and now I was just thinking to play it, when I saw this video... I just can't miss a game with zombies!!!!!
That happened to me too :( It means your disk drive laser is dying/ is dead and that you have to send it back to Microsoft to repair if you are lucky enough to still have the warranty.
@XLcurley the DLC is only 5 hours long, the trailer told me all i needed to know, only thing i didn't know was that there were 4 mythical undead horses i had to break
I liked Undead Nightmare not only for the zombies, good story and low price, but because it also reminded me of The Walking Dead. John = Rick, Abigail = Lori, Jack = Carl, Uncle = Dale, Bonnie = Andrea, Seth = Merle/Daryl, West Dickens = Hershel, etc. Anyone else see the resemblance?
well i know that, but i wasn't going that deep. I meant as a general outline. John has a beard, a strong moral compass and a large brimmed hat. sound familiar? oh yeah, it's rick. i was going down the route of appearances and general character info rather than story lines.
@RasmusKudahl That's what I goddamn want. A game where you be the FIRST zombie that starts it all, then you use strategy to take over the world. Like a sandbox game.
@JTtheLAR how do you do that? I played and beaten red dead redemption by borrowing it. It was a great game but I never got the chance to try out the undead dlc. How do I buy the undead DLC as stand alone game? And how many gameplay hours is the dlc and can you play it online? Please reply.
RDR Undead Nightmare is wonderful, and I enjoy it a lot, but I don't agree that it's better than the main game, as this reviewer says. RDR the base game is one of the greatest games I've ever played. Buy both this and RDR though.
ok someone please help me. how do I buy the stand alone disc? Is the stand alone disc the "undead nightmare collection" or is it the "undead nightmare"? I'm confused to which one is the stand alone disc.
@ablilgangsta but i see two of them. one called undead nightmare collection which includes all of the dlc. i don't want that. i just want the undead nightmare stand alone disc. but my question is which one is the stand alone disc. the undead nightmare collection or the undead nightmare. some people say that the undead nightmare is just a dlc and you need the red dead redemption game disc. but as for the undead nightmare collection they say its the stand alone disc and you dont need the game disc
@ablilgangsta so are you saying that if I buy only the undead nightmare $10 in the PSN i would be able to play it without the red dead redemption disc? are you 100% sure because i don't want to find out that it's only a dlc. please reply
Undead Nightmare means that the Red Dead series finally does something better than Gun, since the latter certainly doesn't feature shuffling dead folk.
The only disapointment in this game, (for me) is that when John Marston is a zombie, at the end, it doesnt have a final secret ending like the original RDR, even though it says that undead john marston has unfinished bussiness on Earth, its just protecting towns from zombie hordes, so it gets boring after a while.
I enjoy RDR. Never played Undead Nightmare. Getting it soon though. One thing I'm disappointed with, is the lack of money and the possible lack of police. I understand both things would be a bit pointless in a zombie survival situation, but building up my money is a big thing I do in the normal RDR game, and being able to get a bounty on you and all that is another big part that I enjoy. Kinda wish they were somehow in Undead Nightmare. Although I'm sure it's still good. I also wish the whole, killing zombies, was a bit more realistic. I'm not a big fan of how a lot of times, they just explode into red then disappear, or how some explode into a green glow. I'd much rather then react similar to normal people in RDR when killed. Just kinda, fall over realistically and all that.
I know your comment is 5 months old now, and you probably already bought it. But the zombies only explode when you use the blunderbuss. Outside of that they fall down like normal humans. But I will say, I agree with you. Red Dead Redemption is just more enjoyable than Undead Nightmare in my opinion. And I'm a big zombie fan. Undead Nightmare is still awesome, though. I just prefer RDR. :3
One of the few zombie games I've actually enjoyed and it's just a standalone expansion. Great review Mark.
this guy really does make the best reviews
For a dlc/ stand alone title this was good with a creepy atmosphere great fun weapons, great gameplay and graphics as well as.a decent story
best dlc ever made!
nah the witcher 3 blood and wine is the best one
Mark reminds me of Scooby Doo in that he'll do anything for a beer just like Scooby Doo would do anything for a Scooby Snack. In this case, the only reason he'll kill zombies is that because they ate the bartender's brains and now he wouldn't serve him beer. :)
i just love how this guy plays such serene music in the beginning over someone who is having their organs brutally ripped from their body by zombies
Wow, I've been on the fence for whether I should get this or not for the past week, and here you come with a review. Perfect timing. =D
love the way red dead has a mission to find the dead husband and links to this dlc, one of the best game and dlc iv played ever
1:11 Best part LOL "DIE YOU GOD DAMN ZOMBIES , DIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE"
Videos like this are proof Mark is the best video game reviewer there is.
One of my fav CGR reviews.
morale of the story: bartenders are the most important people ever
Best DLC ever reviewed by the best reviewer ever
@KarlTheSheep Yes, if you by the stand alone disc retail or download it from psn store.
"is it really a nightmare if it's this much fun?" lol
haha i have subbed and liked his videos for a long time mark is one of the best game reviewers out there and deserves to be well known ;)
Between this and the original RDR I've spend more time in the RDR universe than any other game! I can't seem to be able to tear myself away! despite having done virtually everything there is to do many times over! it'll be a mainstay in my gaming schedule for along time to come!

Nice shooting Tex! Thanks for Vid
If you have the deadly assassins outfit or the legends of the old west outfit (Something with good amounts of Dead-Eye) this is a LOT of fun.
This guy has the best intros ever
This is the best zombie game ever. Since I bought the download on Playstation Network for only $10. It's a great deal too.
I love CGR reviews
This pack is on sale on XBL for 400 points! Five bucks for this is a steal. Also all the packs are together for 1000 points.
logan's run music?
if so awesome my man
I LOVED Red Dead Redemption. It's one of the best games I've ever played, if not the best. Is Undead Nightmare really as good as I hear it is? I'm thinking about buying the dlc.
In the 5 months since you left that comment, I hope you subscribed to him. Because Mark's the best reviewer ever. lol
How do you change the UA-cam homepage back to the old one? This new one is horrific!
I have the main game, but i haven't yet completed the campaign, and now I was just thinking to play it, when I saw this video... I just can't miss a game with zombies!!!!!
Awesome Review Mark!!!! hahahahaha...I was laughing so hard while watching...
to be honest, i wasnt sure about getting this add-on, but after seeing the review, i am sure about getting it
That happened to me too :( It means your disk drive laser is dying/ is dead and that you have to send it back to Microsoft to repair if you are lucky enough to still have the warranty.
i wish mark would eat some of my home made pie and review it on camera while playing dead space 2
when does the "RDR: Lord Karnage" addon get released? I heard it was gonna have lots of karnage...
Rockstar should make a full-on dark fantasy game. I'd love to see their take on the Castlevania setting
Hey! I'm not the only one who gets so tense he mashes the stick into a crouch. Thumbs up if you do it too.
Favorite Reviewer hands down
So what's the difference between the standalone and the addon?
(I've finished the story)
@XLcurley the DLC is only 5 hours long, the trailer told me all i needed to know, only thing i didn't know was that there were 4 mythical undead horses i had to break
@TheHeyman47 what do you think a review is?
Oh I didn't know you could do that. Thank you.
yes i know but my opinion is that this guy is a much better reviewer think before you start hating
Have you tried cleaning the tray for dust?
You should get Ape Scape for the PS One. I bet that would make a hell of a review!!!
Anyone else see the resemblance?
i HAD to subscribe man youre good.
well i know that, but i wasn't going that deep.
Like a sandbox game.
is the old cgr coming back or something, cause he's playing the old theme song
This is not much of a review but I do like this review!
the music in there reminds me of Uncle Traveling Matt's monologue music
@JTtheLAR how do you do that? I played and beaten red dead redemption by borrowing it. It was a great game but I never got the chance to try out the undead dlc. How do I buy the undead DLC as stand alone game? And how many gameplay hours is the dlc and can you play it online? Please reply.
Nice shooting ;D
Yeah, atleast this guys sounds like hes having fun with the game and not sounding all bored.
@scarb0r0 yes, its pretty much a downloadable content thingy
RDR Undead Nightmare is wonderful, and I enjoy it a lot, but I don't agree that it's better than the main game, as this reviewer says. RDR the base game is one of the greatest games I've ever played. Buy both this and RDR though.
Did he just used Crazy Bus soundtrack? OMFG!!!
the levels where to short there was like 5 main missions then just defending towns 24/7, i think they should of done more main missions tbh
How many zombie bounty do you own the zombie sheriff?
@MrLazyEyes Good question, good question indeed.
rdr was such an amazing game, my GOTY for 2010
Does this game have a lot of violence? I'm thinking of getting it for Little Johnny's 6th birthday coming up.
ok someone please help me.
how do I buy the stand alone disc?
Is the stand alone disc the "undead nightmare collection" or is it the "undead nightmare"? I'm confused to which one is the stand alone disc.
Rdr hands down best game I've ever played
@ablilgangsta but i see two of them. one called undead nightmare collection which includes all of the dlc. i don't want that. i just want the undead nightmare stand alone disc. but my question is which one is the stand alone disc. the undead nightmare collection or the undead nightmare. some people say that the undead nightmare is just a dlc and you need the red dead redemption game disc. but as for the undead nightmare collection they say its the stand alone disc and you dont need the game disc
@plzpeoples123 yes it has all previous dlc's attached to it
You forgot to mention the Four Horses of the Apocalypse
damn zombies taking his day off and he just wanted a beer.
I just love Overkill especially with lots and LOTS of blood!
@ablilgangsta so are you saying that if I buy only the undead nightmare $10 in the PSN i would be able to play it without the red dead redemption disc? are you 100% sure because i don't want to find out that it's only a dlc. please reply
@FobbiesAreOwnage Yeah it's still DLC, you cant go buy "Undead Nightmare" at gamestop. You download it off the Marketplace.
you are the best reviewer ever
Undead Nightmare means that the Red Dead series finally does something better than Gun, since the latter certainly doesn't feature shuffling dead folk.
@DeHomunculus The keyword there is shoot.
I'd love just to be able to shoot my gun freely in LA Noire, let alone kill zombies. :D
undead nightmare was so short i finished it in 2 hours :( great add on tho i never regret it
Undead Nightmare: because there just aren't enough video games with zombies in them.
So if i buy this off psn and i dont have rdr will i be able to play it
Undead Nightmare would;ve been a good addition to Grand Theft Auto IV. Let's hope a similar DLC will come out for GTA V.
The only disapointment in this game, (for me) is that when John Marston is a zombie, at the end, it doesnt have a final secret ending like the original RDR, even though it says that undead john marston has unfinished bussiness on Earth, its just protecting towns from zombie hordes, so it gets boring after a while.
@KwaonyMagic If you download it, you have to have the normal game. If you buy the disc version, you don't need the normal game.
DID YOU EVER GET THE FIRE (DEVIL) HORSE?
@ablilgangsta ok so where do i get the disc version and what's it called?
aw you didn't show any of those legendary horses, like the one made of fire
i hope the standalone for this gets ported over to the pc i wouldnt mind playing this
@Ron123jon why do you spam chain letters? is it really worth it you know nothing comes out through out there spams you make
More online gang hideouts, there is a zombie survival mode! Also new weapons etc.
I enjoy RDR. Never played Undead Nightmare. Getting it soon though. One thing I'm disappointed with, is the lack of money and the possible lack of police. @XLcurley how was it bad???
@1shoryuken not at all, the first red dead game called red dead revolver didn't have zombies
@MegaDeth13itch well i just figured out you can kill him but he appears at the end any so sorry
OMG! I didn't realize it was an undead horse. That's gross! Horses usually smell bad, but how bad can an undead horse smell? :D
Did Mark changed is Chanel name for "turbo volcano"?? 😂
undead horses!!!!!
thats so cool and kinda freaky
i like all your videos
best review you can make
@squaids1414 its a DLC you have to buy it and its a download
