I wrote this one early 2023 while quite unwell. The first version was recorded on a noisy interface that had a huge bleed problem which was an especially rough issue with this arrangement. I couldn't get the sound I was after so I left it. By the time I upgraded my interface, I was onto other music and left Shadow on the bottom of the "to do" list. A few months ago I tried a built up arrangement with my trippy loops and gizmos but...I wound up going right back to this original, stripped down vibe.
Back in early 2023, I shared the noisy demo with my buddy Joel (Red Heaven) and he took a shine to it. Long story short, our conversation about writing and life and collaborating led to the invite to our Zoom Group of Creatives. Which has changed my life and is responsible for me being here, putting out music like this. Through Zoom Group I met Allison2020 and Digital Droo.
