When covering Slipknot, I typically excessively boost the low and treble, moderately boost the hi mids, moderately cut the lo mids, set the lo mids switch at 500Hz and hi mids switch at 3kHz, and add some drive. The optimal values may vary depending on factors like the bass itself, so I highly recommend experimenting with your equipment, trying different settings to find what suits best for your bass and playing style. :) Thanks for the comment!
How do you stop the strings from rattling when in a lower tuning?
