- this is the test mode for the US LeapFrog My pal scout from 2014. this toy is one of the first toys to ever have the LeapFrog startup sound that we all know, and many leapfrog toys since then still use that sound. you'll notice that some of the songs don't have the singing in the test mode. it would be weird if it had the whole database of names in the test mode, but it doesn't.

If you just type in My Pal Bedtime Music more comes up with all different pitches and everything

We actually used a pickup coil, which you can hook up directly through a microphone input.

I wonder why the accompaniments for some of the daytime songs were in here but without the vocal parts. I realise that some of those classical pieces and all the bedtime music is instrumental, but some were definitely some accompaniments for other things here without vocals.
I was able to take out my 2011 (with hearts) my pal violet's soundbox without any damage due to her being a little discolored in brightness of color. As soon as I find the right screwdriver to take ot her lightbulb in her collar, I will take her to the dry cleaner.
Edit: I gave her a whole new sound system that's the same version, and she works great! Of course I replaced the soundbox after I cleaned her.

I actually heard "Something is not right! Can you start over?" when I was trying to personalize my Scout with a computer, Windows haven't detected him as an audio device (maybe because of no driver for Scout installed), but after this I successfully personalized him with my phone.
22:17 this was the first track that played on my bedtime music loop, the ending note was a ding instead of the normal one here, the last time i ever got to hear mines bedtime music was 1/9/24 5:30 PM, and i’ll never forget that since it already didn’t work for a month prior.
the ending note was on a triangle though

I'm not sure if there's a test mode for the French version of the 2014 My Pal Scout/Violet but if there's the audio for all the sounds and content, if not, that will be okay.

How do you get Scout on to test mode?
If it’s the 2014 version, it works the same way. I don’t know about the 2009 and 2011 versions.
@@TheElectronicToyArchive late but I have a 2009 version and you get in test mode the same way by holding both top buttons and switching it on
