Yeah. This is the reason why I stopped using Kimberly. She is strictly pressure & punish play, which I don't find that interesting. Her neutrals are super spammy as shes relies on either a quick knock down or spamming to get at least one hit confirm to follow through on. ANything else, Kimberly struggles at thus leading her (well, tons of kimberly players do it) to walk away the opposite direction to re-group.Somethign that no doubt pisses off the opponents as Kimberly often walks away and end up turtling or waiting for a speedy attack to repeat the punish again. If non-stop punishing and flow charts gameplay your thing then Kimberly is indeed a lot of fun! Of course, she is more fun when you try to mix things up but yeah, that's really it with her as this vid proven.
Agreed, what you see here is only when your opponent is confused. Most of the time, people know what to check and your low damage force you to play the way you see in this video, it's not like you can play defensive with her to be succesful. If it's what you like (aggro all the way) go for it but with this character you have to find multiple openings (6+ in a single round) and confirm them to win. Marisa has to open you up only 2 times and you're dead in comparison. To sum things up, this character is for "try hard" people that like to work more for the same results.
It makes sense for the ninja super fast character to not have as good neutral as other chars..if she had,she d be broken..that said,you can still play neutral with standing mk..good range,8fr,can whiff punish,and leads into dr cancel into corner carry all the way..
