Okay so I might be slightly late on this but still here goes. I like the structuring of your guide and the overall flow, my main concern is almost certainly you should show your input history in training mode, it helps really new players to be able to see if if you're doing light or medium specials, that's sometimes difficult to tell just from watching.

Yes the problem with kimberly is ppl can walk back from her pressure. Hope the big patch buffs her.
Step one: DON'T
If step one fails: 5MP, 5HP spacing trap will get you to diamond

I just found out u can combo after counter hit light elbow you are plus 7 so you can j mk back dash shimmy into l. Elbow counter punish into target combo
yup, been using that for a while. I highlighted this in one of my advanced kim guides! Super useful for long range punishment

Kimberly need Buffs, AND Input Managment her Strings should connect more, the only Drive Rush Attack she have when you Air juggle is that 1,2 String and its almost Impossible for me as a Gamepad Player...Thanks for the Guide!
i usually buffer the drive rush dash otherwise it’s super hard to do

@NRobbi42 Started off on Modern as a joke, but now I'm too used to it and prefer it. Even though I lose out on Kim's CMP and SLK. =/
as a kim main myself i think we need to explore level 2 super. Ive yet to see another kim use this but its highly situational. In mid screen i used m+h target combo to ex run step to the kick follow up. On first kick of the follow up i mashed level 2 super for the win and was surprised she can do that.
i agree, i just don’t think it’s as useful as other level 2s and it’s pretty trash as a wake up call

I've been playing Kim since I first got the game and while she could definitely use some buffs she's still super satisfying when everything goes *just* right
facts, she is super fun but difficult at higher level imo
idk she feels like shes as bad as manon idk how some kims even get to 1800 mr they must be just cracked at the game cus some ppl i play they know everything kim does they always seem to know when to press like getting offense started with kim is like taking so many risks and relying on gimmicks i feel

If possible, can you cover the topic of conditioning? a lot of these options are great but i get a lot of people mashing reversals, they kind of never stop, even if i punish once or twice. its almost as if no one is scared to mash jab in between her strings.
I can do, but it seems like you’re playing too smart for your opponents… try slowing down and let them kill themselves
Two pieces of advice:
Learn a lot of her spacing traps and tighten up your execution on her meaties to punish the mashers.
Slow down your gameplay and try to bait their DPs. Both punish counter combos will really add up over time.
I know when playing Kimberly, it's really easy to always feel like you have to play at a hundred miles an hour. The thing that makes her so scary is her speed and elusiveness. Really maximize her shimmies to make your opponent uncomfortable so that they question pressing buttons.
@imortalXsoul I try but I'm not entirely sure what's missing. I need to make my strings scarier to maybe bait more jabs in-between or frame traps. Once I can condition them to not jab I usually get to use the things you post lol
@@itsTouEasy yeah frame traps will earn the conditioning not to mash
Great guide I suggest using the 1,2,3,4 Heavy Medium and light more if you're trying to talk to beginners like me.
He's going to use the notation at Street Fighter's used for 20 years because when you look up any other guide for Street Fighter games it's going to use those same terms

Sorry to bother you with a question immortal, but desk has a Kimberly video where he juggles the opponent four times in the corner. Can you explain this I can only juggle twice. It starts at the 29-second Mark

@@mb14561 the combo is only doable from an anti air which he shows in the video. If you try to do that same combo from something else that launches such as EX grab, it doesn’t work

When you sprint after the anti air do you press another button to stop or does she do it on her own when you srpint under them ?
you press lp to stop
@imortalXsoul ok cool thank you so I was doing it right all along.. also when I sprint towards them on wakeup seems they can still hit me before I even get to block after I stop the sprint Maybe it's my timing.
