I am almost completely blind and use a white cane to walk in my every day to day. I use audio cues for everything. In SF6 the audio pans from ear to ear in headphones, which helps me know where I am. As well as the sounds of the moves from my opponent.

The long awaited Kim Guide is finally out I decided to fully main Kimberly until EVO, so you'll see some more Kimberly footage / tournament runs and tech posted to the channel as well. I believe in her potential.
We're almost at 50K subs, so consider subscribing to help us meet that goal! Appreciate the support on the channel over the last couple weeks, means a lot.
Also a couple error in the guide, best way to deal with 236K run followups on block is to jump back button, thanks for @1000Tomatoes for the tech/ catch there.
Also the best oki after throw is to do walk forward into another throw, don’t do dash into throw, it’s - (used to be + in the beta)

    • @1000Tomatoes
      @1000Tomatoes Рік тому +3

I should also say that to beat jump back normal Kim can divekick followup into EX tastu. Which itself loses to empty jump back block. But if she doesn't ex tatsu she's +6 in thier face. Source: JavyJitty's revised arcstep counterplay video.
Also, jump back doesn't work for Sim because his floaty jump. He has to do other stuff. It's in the video. Idk how sim works.

Thanks mr Dial Phone! I have a few notes in case other viewers see this:
3:35 this target combo is -12, you will eat a much harder punish than a jab combo if you do this on block.
15:25 lights go into any tatsu, even heavy. It's your most damaging route from lights but I don't know about the oki.
19:30 you can also go into lvl2 from jMP by itself in case you cant/dont want to spend meter on OD air tatsu. In case other viewers have trouble with doing a normal straight into a super, try qcb+MP, qcb+MP after you leave the ground, since Kimberly doesnt have a qcb+MP special it will just come out as jMP and you will already have done half the super motion.
21:25 dont sleep on target combo into medium vagabond edge! The midscreen oki is great; instant run stop puts you +4 in their face even after backrise. Mixing up run stop low, run stop grab or run overhead is really good I think. It also does the most damage of any meterless ender by a smidge.

This character is drugs to play. She’s so much fun. Something’s I do,
    - I try to implement instant air Tatsu as a throw bait for my can setups, not sure if it’s optimal but it looks cool.
    - ex run for wall splat is a little meter hungry but it gives more frames for can oki, has longer corner carry than just slide by a small bit, and opens up some different options like air restands and different can timing stuff.
    - level 2 super. Level 3 is still better, but you get a guaranteed basic mixup situation after level 2 so it’s sometimes worth it.
    - medium target combo into DI is funny/cheesy and can catch unaware people trying to punish you because they know it’s unsafe.
Still not amazing, climbing from plat to diamond atm. I definitely use medium target combo a bit too much in block pressure.
Kimberly is too fun. Cool guide, definitely learned some things to add to arsenal

I was practicing the meaty paintcan setup and I couldn't pull it off for a while until I realized that the frame advantage is lower when the slide is done raw compared to when it is done as a follow up to the 5MP -> 5HP TC.
The setup is so strong, which forces the enemy to either reverse it with resource or eat the entire juggle. It's still unbelievable that you can convert her best pokes; 2MP, 5MK, or any drive rush cancel into this.

The main issue with kimberly : they are not random like you said their gameplay linear and once enemy figure it out , they get punished over and over also she is weak under pressure cuz she doesnt have get of me option thanks to nerfs -_- also her AA is weak not consistent and once you fail your opponent starts to N jump etc ...
Also pretty sure %90 don't use run stop , hisen kick stop parry and ex tatsu cross up once you implement those 3 and be random i think she is unstoppable
I love playing her but im not that good i fail when i do ex tatsu cross up i can do it but not consistently , about run stop once you are in zone you forget about it

22:25 This took me 30min to do correctly one time, i still can't do it every time its been about 1 hour and now i can do it 3/5 times ( I"m on keyboard, and use WASD for movement) its such a brain fry man. Being able to do that command grab thing mid air is sooo good.. Haven't fought any online battles yet, going to try and master all of these combos first.
    This is a good video..

After knock down, mid or close range meaty, Try CMK, SLK, DR, CLP, CMP, SMP, SHP + Any target combo followup. 3bar combo can be finished with LV1 or LV3 Super, very easy combo, but deadly. Can also start with close range CLK, CLP, SLP, SLK, DR, but need alot practise to get used to the link timing, easy version is CLK or CLP, SLP, SLK, TATSU or DR, after you master this CLK start 4 jab combo, it will make your confirm much easier. Even you drop the combo, with drive rush it's still safe and plus on block.

man i've just discovered your channel and your guides are really well described and explained, i'm subbed now. There is just one little problems on your video which seems to be the bitrate you are recording at, each time pixels moves, it becomes blurry which isn't really agreable to watch. Except that, amazing

Great guide, what would have been great if u had said how to actually do her air/ex air grab after a combo/bomb. I struggled a lot with it, but its basically just a tiger knee input (half circle from forward down to up)

This video was def helpful. I'm gonna keep it on rotation just because I have a tendency to slip into bad habits but I can learn pretty well sometimes. Also in the case of being low ranks such as myself... something I caught a lot of attention to is people blocking running slide, is they expect it so much they manage to get caught with Neck Hunter quite a bit. And throwing in Sprint behind the MP, HP target combo gets it stuffed a lot so i have to go to Drive Rush behind it instead which can help.
