Thanks. I just helped my kitten to poop after watching your video. She is just 5days old. Please pray for her so that she can manage to become a beautiful, healthy cat.
I found a newborn kitten that was abandoned and almost dead. The way she was found i knew the mom wasn't coming back. She was born that day for sure. We took her home and warmed her uo and got formula from a nearby shop and started feeding her. She is officially 6 days old and very healthy from what i can tell. She has gained over 10-11 grams each day so far on average. Very active and energetic. She's been peeing healthy clear pee, but her poop is too dry. Ive started increasing the water content in her formula slightly and it has softened up a bit, but she is having a minor constipation problem. She went over 35 hours without pooping, but then had a significant poop. The last clumps were softer, but still not desirable. Since then she has pooped a pea sized pellet that was definitely softer, but it wasnt enough. Its been 26 hours since her kast significant poop, so still cone constipation. Other than that i think she is doing very well. Im almost 100% positive she didnt nurse from her mother at all, but we have made it to day 7 and she is still acting very healthy.
please help, im practically at the same point. i warmed him up and i think the bottle is too big. should i use one of those syringes for oral medicine?? ive been manually squeezing the bottle nipple in hopes the milk will still make it into his mouth. but im doubting my efforts.
I just found a newborn kitten ( born maybe last night or sum) I hv 2 mama cats , one of which is new to being a mom , she didn't hv her babies yet, but she accepted this orphan kitten I found It refuses milk from my mama cat , but they r getting accustomed to each other so hopefully nothing bad happens b4 the baby is comfortable and accepts milk from the mama cat
Always be careful introducing an orphaned kitten to a mom and litter. If your mama cat hasn't had her babies yet, she probably isn't lactating or producing milk yet so the baby most likely isn't getting fed even if she is nursing. The issue with introducing an orphaned kitten(s) to a mom/litter is you don't know if that orphan has any illness or disease. You could be potentially putting your mom/litter at risk for sickness or death. Even a healthy looking kitten can be contagious.
@@SJs-Stories Thx for the info I recently found out that the kid is actually mama cats own, she only had one 🙃 He's healthy now , his name is Phoenix, now I have 31 cats total
Where do you get the bottles I'm from rotorua new xealand hi everyone calls me kk kia ora koe (how r u ) babies bottle I have a kitten whose 5wks old an mum still feeds him but he's weaker than the rest he can't push the others aside to get I'm there on mum's breadt to feed. She's a good mum but she's running low. He's so cute the one your caring for an where do you get the milk also .??((((((????????(
I currently have a runt (momma has an appointment to be spayed), the bigger of the three keeps pushing her around and I help as often as I can to make sure she gets latched; however I’m worried while I’m at work or asleep she’s not getting the nutrients she needs due to the larger boy being a bit of a bully (that’s nature so i get it.) If you send up seeing this, any tips for a kitten who absolutely refuses substitute in a bottle? Little lady was completely disinterested despite my best efforts. They were born yesterday morning and I understand she might prefer her mother but I’m genuinely worried she wont make it if her bigger sibling keeps tumbling her down when she tries to feed.
I think you should be using a warm, wet tissue to help with pee and poop. A dry tissue is too rough on them. Warm and wet feels like mama's tongue. A little more gentle, please.
Don’t do this. Criticizing our kitten fosters when I’ve seen Hannah (Kitten Lady) do this exact same technique, and she’s fostered hundreds if not thousands of kittens. This foster mom is doing everything right. Wet vs dry, is a matter of preference.
Sometimes I use warm wet if its a paper towel because it is too rough. Otherwise if it is a soft tissue, I use dry. It really doesn't matter. Most of the time if they are well hydrated the will pee and poop just by dabbing the dry tissue. You don't have to rub unless the are constipated.
It doesn't matter. You feed them many times per day and their poop and pee is a small variable in average daily weight gain. Just weigh them at the same time each day and average it out over time to see how they are doing. I weigh before feeding and before stimulating at the same time each day to be consistent. Consistency is what matters.

When i feed milk for my kitten milk come out from her nose why😢
Are you squeezing the bottle? That or your hole is too big in the nipple
@@Sukunathekingcurse I squeezing the bottle 🙁

I would never have thought of that name, but I like it.
What you only feed baby and help baby go to bathroom you don't weigh the baby kitten first
