The Funchal Cable Car is a cable car system that connects the city of Funchal with the municipality of Monte. The base station is located in the Garden of Almirante Reis in the historic district of Funchal. The ride to the top station takes about 20 minutes, and there are great views of the city, sea, and mountains along the way.
