IF you had ever seen an ELVIS concert in the 60's and 70's, this movie captured the excitment, the electricity and fun...ELVIS gave to an audience. He was magnetic and like NO OTHER entertainer...EVER!

I LOVED THIS INTERVIEW THE BEST*!!! I LOVED THIS MOVIE BAZ*! I LOVED ALL THE TESTIMONIALS & HISTORY SEEKING AND KNOWLEDGE & UNDERSTANDING OF ELVIS' MUSIC COLLABORATIVE OF GOSPEL TENT SPIRITUALS TO BB KING ETC.
I live in Honolulu and growing up, my Japanese mother and aunt were faithful Elvis fans. I listened to mom's whole album collection of 78s (?) & 45s, memorizing singing along to each and every song for years. I attended all the movies with them, saw Elvis perform at our old Honolulu stadium & satellite televised arena show as well. As little kids we tagged along with them to see Elvis come off the ship 🚢 as women dragging their keiki, screamed & ran after Elvis' limousine down the street.
I loved because they loved but at a distance. I WENT TO SEE THE ELVIS MOVIE AT 75 yrs of age AND JUST WEPT AT THE MEMORIES & DEEP UNDERSTANDING OF HOW HIS LIFE CHANGED THE AMERICAN MUSICAL AND LIFE LANDSCAPE FOREVER+!!!
I ended up being the choreographer and lead dancer for DON HO (Jim Nabor's show b4 that*) and at the Don Ho Show the entire cast had a supernatural revival encounter with God!! I left the biggest show in Waikiki to Youth With A Mission and travelled the world in the arts for years.
I WEEP AT THE THOUGHT OF HOW MUCH LOVE, THOUGHT, TIME, & WORK YOU, AUSTIN, YOUR WIFE AND MANY OTHERS PUT INTO THIS GEM AND TREASURE OF A MOVIE*+!!! I AM FOREVER ENRICHED AND ENCOURAGED! I STILL DANCE AT 75 & I have a performing arts academy reaching out to at risk youth!!! My mandate is to fill WAIKIKI WITH THE GLORY OF HIS EXCELLENT ART TO IMPACT NATIONS WITH GOD'S KINGDOM+! I know that sounds heady..and a bit overblast..but it is the truth!+
I LOVE LOVE LOVE YOU & APPRECIATE ALL YOUVE DONE TO INVIGORATE, UNDERSTAND THE JOURNEY OF MUSIC FROM BLACK JAZZ, SPIRITUAL, ROCK TO MAINSTREAM U.S.!!!.. FOREVER TO INSPIRE & IGNITE ARTISTRY WITH DEPTH OF APPRECIATION OF THOSE WHO HAVE GONE BEFORE U.S. TO LAY SUCH A BEAUTIFUL MUSICAL & ARTISTIC FOUNDATION*!!
MUCH LOVE & ALOHA from just a li'l Japanese girl from Palolo, Hawaii*!!!

I hope Mr Luhrmann can take his long planned adaptation of "The Master and Margarita", as his film next project, as rumors say.

Editing a 4-hour cut can take years. No way he gets the ADR done before people forget
