'The Camomile Lawn' is a superb four-part, 258 minute, drama series from Channel 4 in the early 1990s that featured some top British acting talent male and female. A good story with WW2 as a backdrop, its freshness and sexiness, time switching back and forth years in the characters' lives, made for watchable television helped by this wonderful, evocative music of Ravel that somehow conjured up feeling of melancholy and hope, of lives lived and yet time passing.
