How much front ballast weight for a 48" tiller on a 1025R?

    Slide a pieces of suitable strength steel thru the handles of the 42# weights and add more weight to the ends of the existing weights.

      That’s what I did afterwards. I eventually just bought the Heavy Hitch front bracket to make it easier to swap on and off. Been getting quite a few tilling jobs lately, so I went ahead and splurged a little.

    A cheaper idea would be a some flat steel through all the handles then hang another 2 weights on the outside through handles and a ratchet strap to hold them all together. A drawbar from tractor supply is nice thick steel for about $40 and it adds weight too.

    Unhooking loader hydraulic hoses while engine is running means problems when u go to hook it back up
