    Awesome video Sir! Although, I was taught to tie a safety knot after the clove hitch when securing the halyard and to also extend your ladder as much as possible above the roof to ensure visibility when a lot of smoke is being produced. Otherwise, I loved the video and am hoping to find more! Thank you!

      curtis s if it's only extended a little there's no room for the safety.

      if its short enough you dont need a safety knot

      @@nathannichols1838 seems like a safety issue. They're overemphasizing what I assume is the danger of losing control of the halyard and having the top section drop into the path of the firefighter... At a cost of setting up a ladder in one position, then moving it laterally via rotation, which causes any number of additional hazards.
