  • if you buy YOSE POWER ebike kit (which without trying yet, seems pretty good), you are informed on their site the PAS SENSOR with the kit won't fit Hollowtech 2 or Octalink cranksets (both Shimano).
In the YOSE POWER store there is a Hollowtech 2 PAS SENSOR for sale. could be from £15 to £28 (depending where you order it).
Looks like their ebay store sells it for £13.80 (Feb24).
But it seems the magnetic sensor is designed to cling to a 22 TOOTH CHAINRING (which many MTBs may have). Or you can use the plate to bolt it onto the 22 tooth bolts.
If your smallest chainring is more than 22 TOOTH, there's a good chance it won't fit. Plus road bikes tend to have 110mm bolt spacing, far too big.
This is definitely not a 'fix' video.
Its my understanding this type of magnetic disc is designed for chainrings with 64mm distance between bolts (in the smallest ring)
My chainring has 110mm bolt distance.
Yose Power need to come up with a solution for Hollowtech 2 road cranksets (or any that don't have a 22 tooth chainring).

I think its designed for chainrings with bolts that are 64mm apart via the middle (usually 22 tooth chainrings ?).
My chainring bolts are 110mm apart via the middle.
