Can you please tell me how to reset the watch to factory settings and set a new one? I bought a second-hand watch and I want to adjust it according to my needs. Thank you.
You can do any of those sports. There all available in the profile settings. So you can customize settings and screens for each one. There is no multi sport function though. So you can't do a mixed sport activity. All other Ambit watches except the Run can though.
The top right button takes you to a menus that has 'display' on it. Select that and then turn on or off what you do or don't want to see displayed on the main screen.
Hey, I have a question about the traverse, i recently bought it and i noticed when i leave my traverse away from me for a couple of minutes the screen goes to some sort of standby mode, and wakes up if i move it .. is it normal ?can it be configured? cant find anything in the settings..
Can I add any sport to Traverse? I walk, run, cycling, swim and gym, sometimes mixed. So is Vertical much better to me? I just like Traverse graphite color more than any color of Vertical. And Traverse is little bit cheaper right now. (maybe you can make comparing video between those two) thx
You do get the multi sport modes with the Vertical. You can add any sport to be done by it's self with the Traverses though. Sounds like you need the vertical if you want to combine sports in 1 activity though.
The Amber (this one) and the Graphite watches have the same full gray color body and bezel. The black watch has a black body with a brushed silver bezel and the white has a white body with a brushed silver bezel.
Best review in all of UA-cam. I was looking between the Garmin Fenix 3 vs this baby. I wish the sapphire variant was more readily available. Guess I'll be running a warranty backed replaceable $7 3 pack glass protector with it. It is a dream come true of just want I want with nothing more or less. What a dream of a piece at the perfect price of $250. If gladly pay $300 for sapphire but oh well I guess. Do you think it's easy to ding the glass? The indent looks pretty heavy for banging flat against door end or tree.
I wouldn't worry too much about it. Suunto uses a very hard mineral glass for the non-Saphire lenses. Mine still looks fine and I have taken no precaution with it.
does the bezel get scuffed? i've seen pictures of suunto watches over several months or a year or so where it just looks so ugly coz of the bezel getting scuffed and losing the color around.
CHOPPERGIRL's AIRWAR the haters is replaceable though removing the bezel from the front. But your warranty is void if you do this yourself. It can be sent off to Suunto for them to do it though. When it eventually does happen... way off in the future.
You can choose what is displayed under the time on the main screen by pressing the bottom left button. Seconds are an option, along with battery, Sunrise/sunset, altitude and barometric pressure change.
hm. i dislike the suunto menues. its like reading through a book everytime, very annoying. casio for example does this way better by simply pressing 1 button. if casio only had more simplistic designs.
Just picked one up your Review was really helpful.

Yes it will if not looked after. It does take a while though and they are a replaceable part.
You shouldn't buy a suunto if you're worried about scruffs, it's made for rugged use.
Great review, thanks !
What color is the body of this watch? I was wanting a black body with black bezel. But this model might be more of a dark grey?
Yes this one is a gun metal grey
Will this give latitude /longitude coordinates?
Yes it will
Could you please tell me, how accurate the watch is with the GPS sensor turned off?
It's GPS accuracy is pretty poor when the GPS is turned off.
how did you change you displays i like you set up just got my watch as well
Your answer is 2 comments above. Hope it helps.
Are there more watchfaces in it, than just the digital?
No, just the digital.
@@Pedalfix thanks, ordered it!
What is the battery life?
WouterW with GPS- 10, 15 100 hours depending on the accuracy mode. 14 days with no GPS.
How much is the watch????????? ⌚⌚⌚⌚⌚⌚⌚⌚⌚⌚⌚⌚😮😮😮😮😮😮😮
That's covered in the title. Though as the watch is quite old now, you'll be able to find good deals online.
I don't see any easy way in on the back to replace the battery when it eventually wears out and dies....

It's unnacceptable for such a large screen not to display seconds. That's awful.
