People who have not eaten Pozole have NO idea how delicious it is. I have always said that when Pozole is put on the table that it will stop all talking and silence everyone. It is that good. For me, it is ALL about the pig's feet and broth. AMAZING !!!

Another delicious recipe - pozole is my all time favorite! My Mother used to make it for our birthdaya. She has gone to Heaven a couple years ago and now my family requests that I make it for them. I have made it a few times, I use gualjillo, New Mexico and arbol chiles for the chile sauce. I don't like the taste of cumin or mejorana, so I do not add them. Also, we grew up eating pozole with a salsa macha ( chile de arbol and garlic) and tostadas with sour cream along with the garnishes ( cabbage, radish and onion) . I love to make a huge pot just line yours for plenty of leftovers.

I've made pozole 1 time. My x mother in law gave me a recipe for it (still have it) to make. Just used a pork roast. And for the chili part she brought up a container of the chili sauce. Can't remember the name, but can't get it in my area. so it's Arizona area & that part of the south. But now with your recipe for the chili part, I may actually be able to make it again. Minus the pig's feet ...it looks sooo yummy. Well, even with it it looks yummy. I'll just leave that out. Lol 😋

If they’re too salty, Fritos has lower sodium ones that are now my favorite. A little salty and you can taste more of the corn.
