I was there and got on the field and got to celebrate the Wolverines! This was a day that Michigan fans had waited for a long time to happen. I've never heard The Big House that loud before and I've been going since October 23rd,1993.....to see the footage of our fan base rushing the field is awesome!! Great video and IT'S GREAT TO BE A MICHIGAN WOLVERINE!!
I watched every game in 1997
My first time at the big house was 1968. Ron Johnson ran over 350 yards in the mud against Wisconsin. Ron is gone but his record still stands. He was the Haskins of 1968

Such a true sportsman-like comment Michael. Showed it to my three young boys. As diehard Wolverines, we wanted that win more than anything in the world…and we finally got one. How fortunate are we - both U of M fans and OSU too - to be part of the greatest rivalry in college sports - a rivalry that would not be so heralded if not for the greatness of both of these universities. We have such respect for the OSU team - and it is for that very reason that this victory is one that my boys and I will treasure for the rest of our lives…

This was really cool! But also, yeah, being there was an experience I'll never forget. You could feel the stadium slowly start to believe. The crowd absolutely played a role in this win if for no other reason than the amount of noise we were making told the players we believed in them. That was huge. This game was huge. Now let's go win a championship!!!

This brought a tear to my eye. To love Michigan football so much and set through the disappointment season after season, I honestly don’t know if winning the natty would feel as good as yesterday. Best moment I’ve seen since I became a fan many years ago. To see Coach Howard congratulating Coach Harbaugh, Michigan man to Michigan Man, wasnt that special or what? ITS GREAT TO BE A MICHIGAN WOLVERINE!

You know how you say winning the NC probably wouldn’t feel as good as that win over OSU is weird but true.
It’s like when the red wings finally beat the Avs in game 7, 7-0 it was a big party and felt like that was a the cup.
Or when the tigers knocked off the Yankees and everyone celebrated, then beating the As.
It’s kind of like that I think.
A NC would be great (it’s a long shot) and even a Big ten title, but let’s be honest. That game last weekend was their title game. I hope they keep it rolling though.

Great video. My 10 year old had never heard me that amped up for a game before. I showed him this video and said I wasn’t the only one going nuts in front of the TV that day. That was his first time seeing them beat Ohio and see what a decades worth of frustration comes out looks like.

Yes! 1969 & 70, Living in MoJo dorm at the time ... the Ohio state game was big ... Bo Shembechler versus Woody Hayes. Boones farm was a thing. The freshmen section was the best, we were loving life. The vivid memory is lasting a life time. And the tradition repeats today for 100,000 people at the big house.
I was there for ohio state in 69 when Bo said Those who stay are CHAMPIONS. " GO BLUE"
Mojo! A friend of mine was in whatever learning community was housed there in the 2000s (04/05ish) and I remember it being a big production directing the North Campus-area Chinese restaurant (Evergreen, if you're in a2 again you should go) in where to deliver. I only knew about the place myself because I did precollege at the music school and it was right nearby. Luckily, I didn't really encounter Boone's Farm, though I've been on the Tour de Franzia (an actual thing that frats did)...

I was there that day, standing in row A, in the snow and gray, what more can I say, with more games to play..! Yes. I stormed the field and was amidst the jubilant cluster of maize and blue humanity and mingled with players who were caught in the maelstrom. Victory is ours this day! Marvelous!

It actually was the first time UM had beaten OSU since 2011 -- not 2015. (Michigan fans like myself will tell you that we won in Columbus in 2016 and were robbed, but...that's another matter!)

I grew up in Georgia but my dad grew up in Michigan and was a Michigan Wolverine fan. When I was a small boy he taught me the Michigan fight song. I still remember it to this day. I have met several Ohio State fans in the Atlanta metro area and I have to admit most of them are a-holes. Glad you finally beat them. I love rubbing it in their face about their record with the SEC and Clemson. I hope now they will go into hiding and not keep displaying their Ohio State paraphernalia.

I've been to quite a few Michigan vs OSU games, including my first as a kid '97, but this one felt the best. OSU has a very good offense but their defense got exposed. First time in 24 years I've been able to rush the field. Go Blue! Beat Iowa!

Remember when we beat OSU several years ago in A2? I was able to rush the field. It was a sight to behold. I wasn't at this game, but I remember years ago, they would have police with guns at the U-M vs OSU at MI stadium. I don't know if they allowed the students on the field at that time, but I remember thinking how serious the game was when police were around the perimeter of the field with guns.

We had to have this game. If Big Blue had lost it would have been a few more years before Mich probably would win and Harbaugh wouldn't have lasted past this season.
I just graduated BMT (Basic Military Training) on November 4th, missing out on what seemed like the whole season. I started my Tech School, and the day of this game I sadly wasn’t able to watch it because I had errands that needed to be prioritized over this game…when I could I would check the score of the game, seeing Michigan ahead every time I would jump up and down with excitement looking like a crazy person. When I saw the FINAL score, I was screaming the fight song and dancing. Very sad I wasn’t able to watch the game, I am honored to say that I’m a die hard, maze and blue, Michigan fan. I’ll never forget that day

I was at the game, didn't rush the field as I was up in row 70 section 7 so we were pretty far away but I've never seen the Big House as electric and loud the ENTIRE game like that. OSU was not going to beat us on that day no matter what. We interrupted their rhythm, their cadence, we were the 12th man on the field. GREAT video! Goosebumps still when I think about the moment we stopped them on 4th and long to seal the deal! GO BLUE!!!

I was at the Big House with my daughter the last time UM had beaten Ohio (2011). This game was way different...louder, more boisterous, more intense, and Michigan just bulldozed the buckeyes.
Yeah -- I was at the 2011 game, as well; could not make this one, unfortunately. In 2011, of course, Michigan beat a Buckeye squad that finished the season 6-7 (the Fickell interim year). So, Michigan had not defeated a GOOD OSU squad since 2003 (I was at that game, as well!)
I was there too with my daughter. It was probably the day she decided to go to Michigan when she graduated high school and to play in the Band-which she did for 4 years giving her old man a lot of great memories. Go Blue!
Born in 85 was able to see Michigan win the 97 National Championship as a 12 y.o , would love to see them do it again as an adult.

This is the first OSU defeat where we buckeye fans actually nodded and were happy for Michigan. That was a loud and intimidating game. The fans really made it happen. I was depressed for a while but read the joy and tears it brought to Michigan fans. After 8 wins in a row, we got greedy and took this game for granite. It was stressful every year wondering when Michigan will finally defeat us. Glad it's over with. Glad to see the Rivalry back.

I understand you are trying to be funny or whatever. However, my cousin Gerald ( who loved the Michigan Wolverines and all Detroit pro sports teams) died tragically in a fire at the age of 12 in July of 1970.
I’ve been to about 5 Michigan games in my life and i am so glad to say i got to see this football game live!! It was beautiful. Everything about the day was AMAZING
Made me cry. Well done. Had too many touchdown toasts at the game (airplane bottles) so didn't get to the field. Even us 63 year-olds can party in the stands......the loudest I've heard in my 42 years as a season ticket holder...for the whole damn game. You will never forget this. Ever. Go Blue!

Lifelong Michigan fan here. Ohio State started getting used to making Michigan the butt of their jokes. It took longer than us Michigan fans wanted, but the sleeping giant has now awoken. Sorry Ohio, but you got outplayed and outclassed on Saturday, and you had it coming.
