Normal People is one of the few books I have read more than once, and one of the even fewer that I've read more than twice. I revisit it at least once every year. It was a present from my friend's sister to her, she read it and (correctly) assumed I'd enjoy it too, and after letting me borrow it it's essentially become mine. I've had a friendship strengthen with another person mostly due to the bonding over this book. As an author I wish to write something even half as raw and moving one day.

I read “talking at night” bc NP is one of my all time faves & I saw ppl comparing the two. The writing is beautiful - not as much as Sally Rooney but I did love it. And I loved the main characters. I think you should def read it, I think you’ll enjoy it
