  • Morgan Toney, the Mi’kmaq Fiddler from both We’koma’q First Nation & Wagmatcook First Nation, is teaming up with Producer Keith Mullins to make an album for Morgan Toney.
    One of the songs on the album is the “Ko’jua”. This modern arrangement has caught the attention of CBC, CTV, Cape Breton Post, and various radio stations to as far as Erin, Ontario.
    This Music Video was shot in the Mi’kmaq Community of Eskasoni First Nation, on Goat Island.
    Morgan: We would like to thank the staff on Goat Island for making us feel at home during the shoot! Amazing trail, and an amazing scenery! Goat Island is a must-see.

    Attend your concert last night! You are an amazing group with a very relevant message! You, your group and your music should be centre stage at every Canadian event! You should be featured on every Canadian radio station AND if they don't soon OFFER you a Juno, then they don't know music! You are top of my playlist for years!

    I just love my culture . I am part of a tribe that is starting to get forgotten. I wish people cared a little more.The Mi'qmaq is the name of the tribe I am in.

    I went to Millbrook First Nation with a friend for Truth & Reconciliation Day today and heard this song performed live with Morgan Toney and Alan Syliboy & The Thundermakers and it was amazing!!!
