I actually like season two better than season one. This sweet and lovely couple cannot be made possible without Go Youn Jung and Lee Jae Wook, and they truly deserved to be together as Naksu and Jang Uk with the great acting and chemistry they displayed
in s1 he was light and she was shadow, in s2 she lit up his darkened world. the ying/yang themes throughout both seasons were really good and the fact that they fell in love with each version of each other, accepting each others vulnerabilities and thorns, is peak romance. there's no moving on from them my ukyeong couple😭
Thankful to the Kdrama Gods for blessing us with this couple. Their acting chops, and their undeniable chemistry makes them a treat to watch. Please bless us with more projects with them togetherrrrrr
This actress is phenomenal! I love how she could be naksu the killer in season 1 and by Yeon in season 2. That hardness and softness almost make her scenes unrecognizable! And I love it! I had to go back to rewatch them to be sure they were both her!

Everything about this couple is epic. The cinematography, dialogue, action, story were executed wonderfully. For me they are not the type of couple that u see and go bam. Rather they seep into ur heart and before u realise your world is eclipsed by this beautiful couple. No matter the circumstances, fortune, misfortune, they were brave, courageous and resolute. Their love survived it all and their love is something I admire and will remember for a long long time.

I FEEL THE SAME WAY While I do love mudeok and her acting their love story was always strange to me lol no hate to the actors and actresses but it did feel like they banter like siblings and or someone older to someone younger while I understand they had to do that for the master student dynamic i never really saw them as a couple like every time something sweet happens it gives irk vibes then mudeok or jang uk makes a joke of sorts and ruins the moment so s2 romance for me ALWAYS s1 is great too but in terms of chemistry (in romantic sense deff s2)

This drama moved my soul 🤣. It’s just one of those rare, rare dramas for me where one is drawn to watch it again after awhile. I loved S1 but fell in love with S2. Just love Go Youn-jung & Lee Jae Wook and so wish they could be in another drama together. Their onscreen chemistry is very believable. As for Crown Prince (Shin Seung-ho) and Maidservant Kim (Oh Na-ra) they were fantastic in their roles. Thoroughly enjoyed their respective scenes.

I liked S2 better because of the way they wrote her character. In S1 she was cold, indifferent and not very kind. I couldn’t feel connected to her or why he would fall for her. In S2 she was brave, emotionally open and very caring despite his many rejections. I could buy into why he eventually came to love her as herself.
Alchemy Season 2 beautiful moments were perfect for Jang Uk and Naksu/Buyeon. The personality of Go Youn-Jung and Lee Jae-wook suits very well in this beautiful love story. Nobody could portray it much better. It was in Season 2 we can really feel the love in this entire story. Every scene of them together exudes the best chemistry. We can only wish they were a real couple. They look soooo good together. 😊
Season 1 nasku is guarded cause she was raised as an assassin so its hard to notice if she's in love Season 2 nasku doesn't remember being raised as an assassin so she loves openly and anyone can tell what she's feeling by looking at her When she got her memories back u can see the change in her from happy and goofy To sad and angry n I really applaud the actreses that played nasku cause it's really good.

Naksu beginning : Warrior and Assasin type of woman that you could never messed up Buyeon/Naksu season 2: Innocent type of woman but desperate when she wants she gets it. Jang Uk beginning : Prince type of man, the student of all mages, jealous type when someone touches his teacher/wife he frustrated easily Jang Uk season 2: Being innocent, easily falling inlove to someone that he encounter for the first time, he do everything to protect his loveones especially his wife bu-yeon/naksu Hoping for Season 3.... Like this if you agree....

Jang Uk didn't lie when he said deep down in his heart from the first meeting he already recognized JinBuYeon as a Naksu. Because he unconsciously interested and really care about her. If we recall, when he first kidnapped JinBuYeon, he also looking at her to see if there are the blue mark in her eyes. Even if she is really not a Naksu, I think he would still love her, because as a lonely and the strongest mage, hearing a seemed vulnerable girl want to protect him must be really moved his heart well.

I liked both FLs for the series since they showed two sides of the same person in Naksu - S1 Naksu was forged by trauma and vengeance and had shut down her emotions to survive until she met and trained Jang Uk as Mu Deok, and learned to love/trust/be vulnerable again. In S2 she is freed of her traumatic memories and anger, so more of her true nature shines and guides Jang Uk back to himself, too.
i love that he healed her trauma in pt 1 by teaching her about love, and in pt 2 she returns that by healing him of his trauma. truly yin and yang, jin and jang
Lee Jaewook and Go Younjung are such a wonderful chemistry.❤ There are still many sweet scenes of AOS season 2 in Ep6, 8 and 9 that Swoon can cut clip on youtube. Really miss AOS 2 so much.
What wonderful actors, they have scenes that are completely heartbreaking and others that blow your mind with their intensity. I love them!!!! The kiss is breathtaking and passionate. One of the best kisses I've ever seen in Kdramas. Their chemistry is out of this world.

Season 2 hits the heart differently. I find myself rewatching it all over again coz i still cant move on from all their scenes together from beginning to the end. She's just so cute, innocent, funny and ethereal at the same time. Their chemistry together is exploding

Their chemistry made Season 2 much more interesting than Season 1, as for me. I watched S1 only once and I've already watched S2 two times, and some episodes 3-4 times. It's really a masterpiece with great cast, interesting story, beautiful decorations, etc.

I liked S2 better because of the way they wrote her character. In S1 she was cold, indifferent and not very kind. I couldn’t feel connected to her or why he would fall for her. In S2 she was brave, emotionally open and very caring despite his many rejections. I could buy into why he eventually came to love her as herself.

Alchemy Season 2 beautiful moments were perfect for Jang Uk and Naksu/Buyeon. The personality of Go Youn-Jung and Lee Jae-wook suits very well in this beautiful love story. Nobody could portray it much better. It was in Season 2 we can really feel the love in this entire story. Every scene of them together exudes the best chemistry. We can only wish they were a real couple. They look soooo good together. 😊
Season 1 nasku is guarded cause she was raised as an assassin so its hard to notice if she's in love

I was honestly nervous at first but the end of episode one where younjung called jaewook seobangnim made me smile. It takes two to create this level of chemistry. AOS2 may have ended but it has the kind of love story that lingers in your heart. Well done jaewook and younjung 👏

Jang Uk beginning : Prince type of man, the student of all mages, jealous type when someone touches his teacher/wife he frustrated easily
Jang Uk season 2: Being innocent, easily falling inlove to someone that he encounter for the first time, he do everything to protect his loveones especially his wife bu-yeon/naksu

Jang Uk didn't lie when he said deep down in his heart from the first meeting he already recognized JinBuYeon as a Naksu. Because he unconsciously interested and really care about her. If we recall, when he first kidnapped JinBuYeon, he also looking at her to see if there are the blue mark in her eyes. Even if she is really not a Naksu, I think he would still love her, because as a lonely and the strongest mage, hearing a seemed vulnerable girl want to protect him must be really moved his heart well.

I liked both FLs for the series since they showed two sides of the same person in Naksu - S1 Naksu was forged by trauma and vengeance and had shut down her emotions to survive until she met and trained Jang Uk as Mu Deok, and learned to love/trust/be vulnerable again. In S2 she is freed of her traumatic memories and anger, so more of her true nature shines and guides Jang Uk back to himself, too.
i love that he healed her trauma in pt 1 by teaching her about love, and in pt 2 she returns that by healing him of his trauma. truly yin and yang, jin and jang
Season 2 is the perfect love story, the chemistry of these two is out of this world
