I have always had an issue with selfcare because it's so "me" or "self" centered but soul care I can totally do.
    Love all your book selections.
I love having books on hand but I do prefer audio books because I can listen in the car.
So many books so little time.

Great timing. I just published my December wrap up of books this morning. Love to see what you're reading. Right now I have too many books going: Non-fiction: Inside American Education, Charlotte Mason Education, Life-Giving Home, The Case for Christ... and fiction: Lemon Drop Falls and Loyalty. We love to read in this house.

Self care and souls care are needed. The Christian community is so self righteous sometimes. Exercise, eating healthy and mental health are important and biblical!!!!!! And I’m a Christian.

Thank you for your thoughts. Do I think self care in the categories you listed are fundamentals yes. But will sustain me… no. I can eat right, work out and be mentally sound and still fall short. I am simply saying it isn’t enough and our society whether Christian or not is so fixated on how we alone can be self aligned and cared for that we do not depend on the God but on ourselves. Thank you again for sharing.

Happy New Year Tasha! I completely agree about the term 'self care'...'soul care' sounds much better and is more accurate for what we as lovers and followers of Christ want to achieve. Loving the Lord our God with all our heart, mind, SOUL and strength!
You are so beautiful in this video :) Thanks for more great book recommendations x
