- Well here I am continuing on with the FMS Dassault Rafale 80mm with its radio setup. The radio setup for the FMS Dassault rafale 80mm is pretty simple since most of the mixing is already done for you through the FMS control board. You only need to mount your receiver, bind her up and set your prefered settings like timers, rates and throws.

The radio setup was very simple, everything is already labeled for you. You just need to mount your receiver, bind her up and set all you prefered values like rates , throws and timers.
Very helpful setup video. It’s good to see someone else doing this. Lots of good advice in this video. I hope you do this more frequently. Hope you bring back the saying…
“ I tell you what”
I tell you what!!! lol thanks so much. I just uploaded a 3 part one on the FMS Viper 15 yr Viper.
Good job Greg! 👊🏻💥👊🏻
Thanks so much!
Another great video! I've got this jet coming Saturday! I haven't crashed in awhile lol. Hope you're great!
Well hopefully you nose gear will be reliable mine keeps failing, that's why I have not flown her in awhile, I have 2 of these 80mm rafale and both have bad nose gear, they go up and down about 7 times then get stuck half way up on closing, The till arm or rod keeps binding on the corner, you must turn the nose gear to the right to stop this but of course that turn the rudder and screws up the landing. Or move the nose steering to a separate switch and assign it to the rudder stick. VERY annoying. hate to be a bearer of a possible problem. Hope yours works great!!
Very interesting points about the reflex and AR631
Yeah I just assumed it had the Reflex but it does not. But the FMS control box will do all the elevon mixing and flaps settings for you. That is a time saver BUT you cant change those setting or even change the time of the flaps.
I'm a little confused, at 11:49 with your flaps and aileron in full span, you only have one side, half your deflector throw. You should have symmetrical equidistance up-down. You're missing something. I have the same FMS rafale, and my flaps and ailerons in lockstep travel up-down symmetrical equidistance up-down.
Mione are now together i was demonstrating the flap settings then that are now bypassed.
Hi can you please make a video from zero on how to set up and pair these rc jets with transmitters and on how to assemble for the beginners
Ok tell you what, I just got today a Freewing F9F Panther 70mm . My first day off is Monday the 11th. That evening I will be doing a unbox/build video and then next a Radio rates and CG video. i will make it very beginner friendly and go into greater detail for a new pilot. Hope it helps ... were talking VERY late Monday more like Tuesday morning when the video will be released.
Other channels mentioned the flaps on this plane are supposed to be air brakes.
It does have flaps but they are preprogrammed in through a control box that you cannot get to. The "Crow" braking acts as flaps and air brakes. According to FMS they are meant to slow your roll out . I would rather have full control of the flaps and have reverse thrust as an option. If you try to use their "crow' as flaps you lose a lot of aileron authority.
For AS3X what are you numbers for pitch, roll and yaw??
Same as default safe. i think 40 , 60, 60. i normally dont set headings or priorities. Just whatever the default is. I put my gains on a roller to adjust to the flight.
The elevator was pitching in the wrong direction when testing safe mode. Look at the canards. I had to reverse ailerons and elevator servos.
Thanks and thanks for noticing
My 80mm Rafale landing gear is broken and I want to replace it. Where can I open the body? I did not find it
Ohh sorry I cannot advise. I have not had to do ant repair work on mine yet, Sorry
Can we install a small vr camera in it?
yes there is enough room.
Does this have reverse thrust? Thanks
No I wish!
