      It doesn’t look like you’re getting it. The Acela IS an Amtrak train. You said the same thing twice, as the commenter here has alluded to.

      If you think that was fast, take a look at a video on the cho Shinkansen maglev super train in Japan. Running on magnetic levitation, this train can operate at speeds of up to 375 mph and not a ripple on your martinis. What you call fast is crawling compared to the many bullet trains that currently operate in Japan, china and Europe. The so called (mighty) United States of America, the nation that can put a man on the moon but can't achieve highspeed bullet train technology which is also, (fully electric). Highspeed bullet trains and maglev super train technology, the new american dream....
