It’s the Midwest work ethic that everyone in the area grows up with. I’ve been all over this country and have been involved with the hiring process for several large companies hiring for major expansions and new facilities and you could tell what region of the country folks are from without looking at their resume or asking them by just watching them throughout the interview process and listening to their answers. Folks from the Midwest are by far the most sought after individuals for new hires than anyone else. They work harder, longer, more quality conscious, etc than anyone else that will interview for that job! It’s a proven fact and many studies have been done on this very subject over the years and they all come back with the same findings that the midwestern Work Ethic is alive and well and really does exist! And these young men and ladies, have that work ethic like most of us that were also born & raised there. It’s in the water too!!
