I bought the Track Racer TR80 Lite with a Quad Monitor stand. So far I have spend about 3 days building mine and still going. I bought mine in sessions. 1st the Monitor stand, then the Sim rig Thanks for showing the Buttkicker mount option. Im thinking about getting it but Im just flying DCS World. Ill see how I go. Tx for the video.

I also have the TR80. The only thing I didn't like was the wheelplate. Trak Racer has now a better and upgraded wheelplate. I use that one now. It is so much better. Also to put your steering wheel in the right position.
Just bought this rig and nobody told me it was gonna be shipped in 5 separate boxes and be delivered on 5 different days was quite disappointed about that since I travel for work its still not fully assembled 😢 hoping to get it finished up when I get home this weekend great tips on the adjustments gotta be comfortable in something ya spend hours in
Dope! I’m brand new to SIM Racing, but I went BIG & pre-ordered the Trak Racer Alpine TRX rig & a Fanatec wheel & pedals setup a couple nights ago. Can’t Wait!!! …but I will be until things start shipping end of next month… 😩 #NewSub&Supporter
I’m building mine right now, don’t waste money on the castors tho, out of stock so I just went to Home Depot and bought some and just ordered some extra t nuts and bolts from them. They’ll fit perfect tho
Alright update comment (on your vid, you know, for the algorithm lol) 4 packages arrived within a half hour of each other, albeit from different carriers. FIRST THING YOU SHOULD DO: Locate the model number on the outside of one of the boxes!! WHY: BECAUSE the set of instructions and specifications you’ll find by scanning the QR code is probably not the right set!!! I ordered my TR80 in January and it’s not the TR80 pictured on their site. Not the TR80 seen in this video either. It’s closer to the TR Lite, but their support queue person will battle you on that and make sure you know you’re wrong. Some of the profiles/extrusions have changed, like the pair you mount your seat on. Seems like they’re looking for ways to cut costs because they’ve moved to the 40x40 mm for those. The steering wheel base column is the biggest disappointment, though. Instead of receiving the extrusion and universal wheel base attachment shown here and on the website, you get the TR lite version, which is a huge pain to adjust.. Can’t overstate that. Once I figured out the the tr80 I received and the one on the website + set of instructions provided were different, building wasn’t too bad. It’s tedious, and man.. a lot of metal/aluminum slivers. Don’t torque anything before it’s all together and don’t use to much force. Wear gloves when you slide the t-nuts in and have a dust vacuum handy. I’d go with a different 8020 rig if I were shopping for one again.

Got the same rig. Have a Formula V2 wheel and V3 pedals. I’m old and disabled. Took me a month to build the rig.
Clean looking rig man. Aluminum profile is the best way to go for simulators.
