Frankly speaking. It's not reviews that needs to be rethinked. It's rather people's perception to reviews and review scores that needs to be. Review score of 76 doesn't make it a bad game. People came to think only score of above 80 is a good game. From our era. 50 was supposed to be bad game. Now people's perception changed
FightinCowboy on UA-cam gave a lackluster walkthrough that he abandoned well before the end. I was playing the game and am really enjoying it currently now. Don't let reviewers who dis on this game ruin it for you. The gardens and pleasure district textures are as good as anything in GOT. So enjoy. @FightinCowboy stick to Armor Core games!

I really don't understand all the hate this game is getting, i tried Nioh but couldn't really get into since I've never been big on souls like games, I've only played a little bit of rise but I'm loving the combat (difficult as it is) I'm a massive history nerd, which is the main reason i brought it

This game is amazing and really got robbed of it's score. All the nonsense about the graphics and supposedly empty world. It's sad that most of the negative reviews are from Xbox and PC players. Great to see how much love this game is getting from the community.
I’ve been loving this game. I understand the criticism and it’s valid. But taking in the game and playing it has been thoroughly enjoyable team Ninja did a great job I think.
I’m about 7 hours in and one thing that really surprised me is how good this game looks, the way people was talking pre release I thought the graphics would be ugly as hell!
Looks like a fun game and well thought out mechanics. The grappling hook reminds me of a ps2 game called Tenchu Z. With it, you got a cross hair and pull yourself up any wall ceiling or roof top and wait for the enemy to come by and like a spider, drop in from above. Once downloaded I look to enjoying it.
Most annoying thing about this game by far is the need to use different names for basic things. It’s not a parry, it’s a counterspark. It’s not grabbing or searching an item. It’s checking it. Other than that, the only issue I have is watching other people play the game in a way that make me look like a toddler playing with a controller.
You guys; reviews and UA-cam videos don’t do this game any justice. It’s a prettier game than what we are lead to believe. Made the purchase last night and have spent the entirety of the day playing 😅 the combat is amazing
I’m finally enjoying the game after struggling with Perry at the beginning. I’m no novice as had PS since they first came out but Perry was a b**** to kill. I almost gave up, so pleased I didn’t 🙏

I really wanted to love this game. I love team ninja and their Niho series. But maybe it's me I don't know. The combat and Rise of the Ronin is just not on the level as some of their other games and because of that I just can't get into it.
If they’re going to charge more, the games should at least look more impressive to match. This game looks pretty generic but fun, however let’s be honest, the graphics were miles better in Ghost of Tsushima a few years ago and that was $60.
While graphics do matter, it’s not an issue here. Its the fact that it’s not a fantastical is what hurts it in that department because art direction can go miles
