Pro-tip for the honey tubes, put your teabag in then cut one end off the honey tube and stick that end down in the cup of hot water then nick the other end and let it drain in using the heat... by the time your teabag is done you can plunge the honey tube a few times and get it all out.
The tablet drop into glas was awesome, as mentioned before those berry candies are Barberry-flavored. Awesome ration review this time. Makes me want to pouch it from somewhere.
Honey in coffee or tea is yum. That looked like some marajuka is it? You crap me up with the onions dude! My daughter and her kids don't like onions either. But they eat the crap out of pizza. And Funyuns. And french fries onions on salads. And pizza rolls, hotdogs and spaghetti. All full of onions and onion flavor. They just don't like the pieces haha. Thankyou Nate🙄😈
Two things from my childhood that I cannot stand still today are dried mashed potatoes and powered eggs. I would have to be very hungry to eat those. But this is an "emergency ration"...
That is some interesting flavor combinations you have there , Nathan. Definitely A different ration. I like something new. Despite A few taste issues for you, you had one heck of A ration. Lots of food, and, different flavors. Great ration and review. Peace, John.
Nathan, you obviously miss the products from Russia.Tell me, how did you manage to get this ration if they are banned in the USA ? I have such a menu on Monday. I think that I will soon review him, in the snows of Sakhalin. Anyway, a great review my friend

Russians love their salted foods. They put a lot of it in their foods. Ukraine is pretty much the same once you get out side the big city's and into the small villages salt is used in everything.
Looks good, I just ordered a case of sopakco emergency food, been trying to find videos on them but little to nothing. Do you have any videos or knowledge about them?
I am literally living bi-curious through you. I can't have onion of any sort because of an onion allergy. I would love to try MRE's but a lot of them do have onions.
Great review dude, all you review's are great. Keep it up mang! Shout out to STEVE1989MREINFO . His channel got me hooked on the MRE reviews. These MRE review's are like dinner ideas. Either you eat the same ration along with the video or what ever is being eaten will make my dinner seem soo much better in comparison(hopefully). I got to gst my hands on some French Ostrich &Cranberry sauce ration, na mean!
So, you keep doing these russian rations that seem to almost always have some onions in them. Gonna make you an onion lover yet, eh??. BTW, that fish soup is either salted cod or sturgeon. The way you reacted, I do not think it was carp although they do love their carp over there.
@@drdnout: But pink salmon does not have that strong of a fish flavor compared to salted cod or sturgeon. I love pink salmon but do prefer sturgeon and pickled carp better.
During the Spanish flu epidemic my grand father worked for a Romanian family in Kansas. He took two meals there a day. He said they barely spoke English and would eat an onion the way most people ate an apple.. They cooked heavily with onions and leeks. Anyway when the flu showed up everyone was hit but grandpa and the Romanians . They kept everyone’s stock fed and acted as nurses at the time. They cooked some kind of really pungent onion soup and brought it around and fed it to people who they were taking care of.. So grandpa became an onion and garlic fan. Subsequently his 11 kids were fans and his 40 plus grand kids were raised drinking onion soup in the winter.. Dad thought onions were magical and made cough syrup out of sugar and onions. I told him the reason we never caught cold was because the house was to cold for a virus to live and we stank so much no one got close enough to give us a cold...

For the omelette I think you should have used the zip top and shuck it released the pressure and sealed it for 10 minutes
you should let the fish soup set a long time if not boil for 10 mins
