im based in uk but recently have come to ghana for some work. Created an international account but im struggling to find a international broker that approves stock investment in ghana. Im going to check out the website you mentioned but atm ive just got interactive brokers
Thanks, Antwiwaa, for the education on stock investment. Anybody who wants to invest in stocks should probably consider it as a long term investment. It's much lucrative this way.
You did mention your source and amount of money would be needed by the broker. So since students do not have a steady source of income, would that be a hurdle please?¿?
Well technically, you do. You get an allowance from your parents or something along that line. Also, On most application forms, you can specify you’re a student and you should be fine. Don’t worry
U doing an excellent job but I think as much as we are listening n taking most advices and ideas from u,as risk takers we are left to decide whether to transact business with the brokers u suggest or choose and no one will blame u if something goes wrong,my humble opinion cos I would not mind if u name the ones u hv dealt with
Do you live in Ghana? Yes, then you do. It’s serve as a proof of residence and you can get that from the landlord, parents, or whoever pays the bills where you leave. You can also contact the brokers to find out if there are other alternatives
No disrespect but people don't have to have fear like getting scam anytime when you're doing business in Ghana I think the government should put tough laws in place so people can get arrested and don't have to have fear doing business over there cause it's stressful
ANOTHER QUESTION I’VE BEEN ASKED:
Can you top up your account once you open it?
