That's a rule, the run is not valid if you didn't buck to the bum bumble
Every run is invalidated unless buck bumble is playing in the background whilst grinding

You can't even understand if this is about one person or multiple without a context. Both plural and singular "you/your" is more than enough bullshit for english, "they/them" just making it more confusing, and for why exactly? There's no other problems to deal with, so you people thought like: "Oh, I'm trans or whatever, and i want everybody to notice this beautiful fact" or what?
@Simple Gamer It's fine, singular they has already been used to refer to someone of unknown/indeterminate gender since before Shakespeare. It gets easier with practise, and if you're willing to be respectful, it goes a long way.

There definitely exist Low% runs for other games, some examples are Twilight Princess and Super Metroid. You can try finding other Low% runs online as well.

4:28 Correction: the dreamwielder actually DOES give you extra percentage, but it's unavoidable. The seer gives it to you before the awoken dream nail.

at 3:43 you say every boss gives essence, but that's not true. Only the dream versions of bosses that have dream versions give essence plus dream bosses in the overworld. The run took advantage that broken vessel has a dream variant (lost kin) which does not give % when killed.

I speedrun a modified version of this category that disallows using essence farming, so you actually have to kill bosses for essence. It takes just under 2 hours instead of 50, and it still keeps all the insanely difficult low equipment boss fights and platforming, along with adding even more. Super fun run, but super hard!
Out of curiosity, what's the % for that run? and is there a min% with specific bosses?

I live speedruns that are just unrealistically wrong. Like, did you know that a 100% only mandatory trades run of Yo-Kai Watch 3 would take at least three weeks at bare minimum? And did you know that a 100% no time travel Animal Crossing New Leaf speedrun would take twelve years at bare minimum? It’s always interesting to think of these hypothetical speedruns.

low% itself doesn't (it's a normal category with a 42 minute WR), it's specifically low% TE that's dumb

God, I remember when stallball was discovered. Caught me off guard when he said it was about a year ago. Fantastic video, goes into good depth on the games mechanics without getting boring. I'm excited to see where this channel goes!
He says "TE low% runners" as if anyone other than skurry would do this for 23%
many people have completed this run in reality, it's just that their runs aren't as well known or gained much attention online
At least you don't have to be actively doing something, you can leave Twilight Princess AFK while you do some shopping or something, Link will just keep sliding without you doing anything!
Another funny low percent run is for the legend of zelda: twilight princess. Its your standard low percent game, with tough tricks, etc. But the game has a funny little mistake in it. When Link gets an item and holds it up, he goes into an idle loop, of him just standing there. But the loop of link standing there isn't perfect. It is actually missing one frame. So every loop of link standing there, he shifts every so slightly backwards. And when he is like that, link can go through walls. So low percent consists of only a couple of these instances of link standing there, slowly moving backwards. But those few instances lasts for hours. I'm not sure, but I think one slide, in the sand temple, the slide lasts something like 20 hours just to skip collecting the 4 big poe souls.

At 3:43 you say every boss gives essence, which is false.
There are only 12 bosses in the game which drop essence.
The 7 warrior dreams all grant 1% on defeat, so they're off the table.
There are also the 5 dream variants of existing bosses, which don't count towards percentage, but you have to collect at least 1% before each fight is even accessible anyways.

If for whatever reason someone does try this, make sure to check for bees that may have spawned below the ground or in the ceiling. The spawns seem to be based on the bees themselves and not the Hive Husk shooting them out. Ignoring it can easily tack on 20 to 30 hours or maybe even more.

This is verulean erasure. He did a low percent no storage out of bounds run about four years ago and it took 90 hours because of less optimal dream essence harvesting. Still the most insane speedrun and made more insane by a discovery obsoleting it in about a month after it happened.
I like how I could tell this was low%TE from title(/thumbnail) alone.

it's just a challenge run and generally not considered a competitive speedrun category like low% and of course normal low% is much easier and quicker

that is correct, any% collects many more items such as dash and shaman stone which add percentages. The current Low% limit is 11% and the current Low% TE limit (The run in this video) is 23%.

It's 1/300 by default, 1/60 if more Essence has been spent on Dreamgates than collected through random enemies, 1/200 if Dream Wielder is equipped, and 1/40 if Dream Wielder is equipped and more Essence has been spent on Dreamgates than collected through random enemies. Not sure where you got the 1/100 tbh.

Technically, if you are lucky enough, you could hit the 1/200 chance in every hit you make, and thus, making it much faster
Oh, low%, the most on the spectrum speedrun category. This is one of many games where you press one buton or no buttons for many many hours to achieve low%. To me it's not cool, it's sickening.

It originates from MUD1, a text-based RPG from 1978, where it's short for "mobile object", technically anything separate from player characters that can move from one place to another, but mostly enemies.
Do you get percent from killing broken vessel and lost kin? Cuz you don’t need double jump to beat lost kin
Lost Kin doesn't count towards percentage, but you need to kill Broken Vessel first, who gives 1%.
