    People having problems with hearing can use wired earphones having equal to or more than 10 mm drivers set to full volume and then listen to his lecture. It worked for me and I used a Boat Rockerz wired bass heads 100, not promoting any brand here but to give an idea about how can you hear his voice properly!

    Shomu sir that 9+2 arrangement is in the flagellum not in the centrosome👍i think

    I have heard that the plant cells have a centrosome is that correct or not if you have an essay or survey of that could you please help me

      No bro.. plant cell have polar caps intead of centrosomes

    • @srisankalpamishra3006
      @srisankalpamishra3006 3 роки тому

      Yes, it is actually correct, but the centrioles are found only in those eukaryotic plants where flagellate structures are present in the life cycle (many green algae, bryophytes, pteridophytes and cycads). They are absent in angiosperms, higher gymnosperms, some algae and fungi.

    then what are spindle fibres? please explain iam confused with microtubules and spindel fibres

    • @srisankalpamishra3006
      @srisankalpamishra3006 3 роки тому +1

      Spindle fibres are actually made up of microtubules and a *complete microtubule* is itself made up of *13 protofilaments* of α & β tubulin protein dimers arranged sequentially one below the other. And so texts in the biology books or Zoology books write during cell division, the spindle fibres or the microtubules pull the sister chromatids towards opposite poles.

  • @chaoyang7615

    How microtubule grow in centrosome? only grow from centriole?

    • @srisankalpamishra3006
      @srisankalpamishra3006 3 роки тому

      No, actually Microtubules grow from the PCM (Pericentriolar material matrix) that he described in the video which acts or behaves as the MTOC ( Microtubules Organising Centre) here.

    Centrosome has not central doublet, don't give wrong information

    • @srisankalpamishra3006
      @srisankalpamishra3006 3 роки тому

      Correct, there is only a central hub which is rod like protinaceous structure. Due to the absence of any microtubule in the central region, that's why the arrangement is known as (9+0) array!

  • @mayukh13
    @mayukh13 7 років тому +5

    Triplets don't have 3 tubulins. LOL. Triplets have a complete A 'tubule' and two incomplete (B and C) tubules. Your diagram of a triplet is wrong !! They are not three complete microtubules. Like I said, B and C are incomplete tubules with less number of protofilaments than in A tubule. Also, triplets does not mean three molecules. Are you really calling each microtubule a molecule. Hilarious.

      Bro this concept is for the person who is researching... Ik wht r u talking about.. But here sir is discussing this about the students who r taking preparation for entrance... Agar itna kuch bolenge to dimag ke upar se jayega.

    • @srisankalpamishra3006
      @srisankalpamishra3006 3 роки тому

      Yes, indeed this is correct!
      The subfibre A towards the inner side is *complete* with *13 protofilaments* and the other *subfibre B and C* are *incomplete* due to sharing of some microfilaments probably 2 to 3 protofilaments common wall. And the three sub-fibres of a triplet fibril named as C, B and A are in reality microtubules joined together by their margin!

  • @mayukh13
    @mayukh13 7 років тому +6

    You are not up to date with microtubule literature. Many concepts that you explained have changed more than a decade ago. For example: 'minus end dissociation' is completely misleading ; dynamic instability ( if that is what you are referring to) happens at the plus end. Infact, minus end is rarely free in nature. Microtubule rescue and catasrophe happens exclusively at the plus end. Refer to in-vitro papers of EB1 to check rates of minus end depolymerization. Whatever you are teaching may be ok with naive students without a research background. But it is hilarious for an active microtubule researcher like me. Please read recent papers to stay up to date. Papers from Eva Nogales lab, Ronald Vale lab and Jonathan Howard lab will be a good starting point for you.

    • @gulshanthakur3555
      @gulshanthakur3555 4 роки тому

      Yes bro you are right . - end is stabilized by its insertion in centrosome and operation of rescue and catastrophe is mediated by +ve

    • @gulshanthakur3555
      @gulshanthakur3555 4 роки тому +1

      @@akashchauhan430 this topic is important but now if you have question on movement of organelles based on + and - end then students will confuse
      And I think he should give more information on protein involved in this mitoses process carried by microtubules if he want students to get good or elucidated information
