    My hero! Best lecturer ever! I hope UA-cam will start having awards because you will win it hands down.. You have the natural ability to explain complex subjects into layman term. God bless you for your knowledge and generosity. Eternal gratitude from me. You are the best period!

      I couldn't get one thing. If you know, please explain, I'll be highly grateful.
      Look! Centrioles are composed of microtubules and centrosome is composed of centrioles then how can centrosomes make microtubules. As they're themselves composed of centrioles.

    I have a 3D cell model project for my science class, but since we’re in grade 8 we’ve only learned about the basic stuff in a cell. In search of a way it get a good grade, I decided to research more about the cell and this is actually really interesting

    During what phase can the centriole be seen?

  • @B1SpkTKD
    @B1SpkTKD 9 років тому +1

    As another user said, you're a great teacher.
    I have 2 questions: what's the purpose of the perpendicular settle of the centrioles? Do centrioles organize cytoskeleton only during mitosis or during the whole cell cycle?
    Thanks for the video! Greetings from Chile!

    • @hitarthchandra7778
      @hitarthchandra7778 5 років тому

      I don't know why are diplosomes at right angle with each other..but as far as cytoskeleton is considered...endoplasmic reticulum also forms cytoskeleton...as it is spread inside the cell...holding cell organelles to their position..and centriole forms cytoskeleton in several phases of mitosis...it begins at late prophase and kinda ends in Anaphase in mitosis...in meiosis there is another mechanism going on...

    Arrangement of centriole is 9+3 or 9+0?
    Cuz in Eukaryotic flagella or cilia arrangements of microtubule is 9+2 (9 peripheral doublet and 2 central)

      +F. H. No, It's 9-3. Each centriole is a cylinder of nine triplets of microtubules. Hence 9-3..
