For such an expensive apartment, it is not staged very well

Correct, it's very euro-centric. Ridiculously so. Look at how tall the kitchen stools are! That kitchen is not meant to be used, other than to turn away from the Working Triangle and look out the windows.

Here's my two cents -- when you get to this caliber of income your expectation is extremely high. This specific unit is north of 14-million dollars...... I am sorry but the design aspect inside these penthouses isn't anything short of a nice apartment conveniently placed on the 80th floor.. For 14 mill, I want next level design, lighting, and SPACE. The only reason they're charging 14 mill is because its the view and the building is new.

That is patently *NOT* a penthouse. A penthouse is always the top floor and is supposed to be a single suite. Terrible dishonest new trend.

It kills me how much they charge for these places. I live in Toronto, which is essentially Canada‘s New York. It’s a pretty big city, that is morphing into this gigantic city thanks to some Insein construction boom that’s been going on for the last 15 years, wherever there’s a square foot of land they put up a condo! Well the building they are putting up right now is short by Manhattan standards, will be the tallest building in the country, it’s about 1100 feet tall, where the penthouse, is starting at $25 million, but there are four of them, I believe they are four levels each, the building has not even broken ground level yet, and it’s already sold out. How the hell can they justify charging so much money for a closet in the sky? The prices start at $1.6 million for a 350 square-foot bachelor apartment, Pardon my language but that is just fucking insane! It’s getting to a point where there is zero affordable housing left, if you want to live in the city then you have to be wealthy, otherwise there’s no way you could afford to live here. Luckily I live downtown for many decades, and the apartment building I rent from him, it’s so cheap it’s almost a crime, because by law they are not allowed to increase rents by more than 1.8% each year, so we pay, ready for this?, A grand total of $1318 a month for a 1100 square-foot two bedroom apartments on the 20th floor, what’s a beautiful north facing view of the entire city, and that includes one parking spot, And electricity. We’ve been in this building for almost 2 decades, before the insanity began, but I do know that my neighbour downstairs is paying almost $4000 a month for the exact same apartment, but they have to pay extra for parking and utilities. Another words I’m going to die in this apartment, unless they turn it into a condominium, which is probably going to happen. I absolutely love Manhattan, dare I say, I love it even more than my home city of Toronto, I just hate that they are taking every square inch of land available, putting these enormous buildings on top of them, and charging a fortune so that nobody except the extremely wealthy can afford to live downtown. It shouldn’t be that way, why do only the wealthy get to enjoy living downtown? The city is meant for everybody, not just the wealthy, so why then are housing prices so insanely high? I absolutely refuse to pay that much money for a little tiny closet! After I ran the numbers it’s actually cheaper for me to rent here, then to try and buy a condominium and spend the rest of my life paying for it, only to die with it still not paid off, what’s the point? Living downtown is absolutely wonderful, I can’t imagine living anywhere else, but at the same time I hate that it has now became a place for the wealthy only, homelessness and street gangs have increased tenfold in the last couple of years, as all social housing has been knocked down, leaving thousands upon thousands of people homeless and hopeless, just so they can put up another condominium for millionaires only. The Hudson yards is a remarkable project, they’re actually doing a project but very similar to that here in Toronto, over the train tracks leading to union station, the main transportation hub for the city, but I can already imagine how much it’s gonna cost to live there. It just really pisses me off that these wealthy bastards steal all the land, and doesn’t give a shit about anyone else except them selves, even though there are thousands of homeless people all throughout the downtown core, they just completely ignore them, but unfortunately a lot of them are turning to crime to survive, not a day goes by that we don’t have at least one or two shootings, In the city does absolutely nothing, and put all the blame on the poor people, when in reality it’s these rich prick’s that are causing all these problems to begin with, am I the only person who feels this way?
