One of the very best sermons I have ever heard!
Probably the most efficacious homily I’ve ever heard. It has completely rearranged my thinking about life, trials and pain, and how to accept whatever comes my way; not only accept but to rejoice in it. I see all my 67 years in a new light, at the pain in my life then and now, and has provided a completely new, joyful way to accept and love my pain and sorrows. Thank you, God for all your goodness- the goodness as judged by the world, and the goodness in the pain, suffering, and the evil that comes to me in life. Hallelujah!

It is true, and there are people out there who say that they have prayed and God never answered them, but they don't realize that they are in control of that. The secret to prayer, is to have true and total faith and trust in God, and to never lose that, and when we realize this and begin to truly live life in faith, we find that Lord comes into our hearts and answers our prayers, but we need to turn to him,and when we give ourselves to him he gives us many blessings and graces, and sometimes even miracles. We need to submit ourselves to God, and have God in our hearts, and then he holds us in his also.

Saint Maximilian Maria Kolbe OFM Conv. (Polish: Maksymilian Maria Kolbe; 8 January 1894 - 14 August 1941) was a Polish Conventual Franciscan friar who volunteered to die in place of a stranger in the German death camp of Auschwitz, located in German-occupied Poland during World War II.
He was active in promoting the veneration of the Immaculate Virgin Mary, founding and supervising the monastery of Niepokalanów near Warsaw, operating an amateur radio station (SP3RN), and founding or running several other organizations and publications.
Kolbe was canonized on 10 October 1982 by Pope John Paul II, and declared a Martyr of Charity.
He is the patron saint of amateur radio operators, drug addicts, families, journalists, prisoners, and the pro-life movement.
John Paul II declared him "The Patron Saint of Our Difficult Century".
Due to Kolbe's efforts to promote consecration and entrustment to Mary, he is known as the Apostle of Consecration to Mary.

It's really hard to continue to suffer without resentment affection us especially suffering on an emotional mental level. Rejection from family members. Growing up around abuse has long lasting effects. I am now 45. Feel life has passed me by. I wish the Lord would take me home sooner. So alone in this cold world.
Don't loose hope! Confide in the Blessed Mother Mary, she is "Comforter of the Afflicted". I will say a prayer for you and for your inner peace :)
