This Catholic teaching is spot on the narrow way, I love this channel. Is this how most Catholics think? Sorry if that sounds a little naive, I'm a Protestant, however I am searching for 'something'.
Well Mr Wilke
If you are searching, you have come to the right place. This Sermon is a perfect message for your journey.
Saints of the Catholic Church will teach you piety, Humility, and Saintly life. I strongly recommend that you find a FSSP Latin Parish in your area, even if you have to drive an hour or so to attend. Since you are Protestant, you will need to enroll in RCIA to become Catholic which I hope you do. Why? The Church has always taught that (There is No Salvation outside the Church)
In your journey you will learn and understand this Truth.
May the Lord Saturate your Soul with the Holy Spirit. 🔥✝️🙏
Check dr Brant Pitre videos, he explains well most of the questions Protestants have.
Good luck in your search.
You are a true seeker, God will lead you somewhere. Yes, you will find
Matthew how are you doing these days? Have you made any progress on your search? Peace.
I came into Communion with the Catholic Church in 2022 , at 65 yrs old . Born and raised Protestant . That something more you are searching for , is God causing a restlessness in your heart , to bring you home into His Church . I will pray for you . I will never look back , as the truth and rich Presence of the Lord in my life now , due to the teachings and guidance of the Church will turn your heart around and change your life . I truly had never encountered the Lord as I have in His Church . May the Lord richly bless you ! He is the One placing that discomfort within your heart … for eternal purpose ! ❤
@@TJMM864 Welcome Home!!!!
Really helpful video!
St. Ignatius of Loyola, pray for us!
Saint Ignatius please pray that my will unites to God's will for my life! 🙏
I wish I would have known this as a teenager.
I know. It could have spared me so many stupid mistakes I made in my life
@@DarkAngel-cj6sx you are where you are because of your choices. God brought you here from your past, if anything, because you're here, seems you're making the right choices!
I soooooooo needed to hear this! Yay! Praise God!
Brilliant Saint!! A good reminder in these radically uncertain times!
Thank you Father🙏🏻
This homily was very helpful father!
Thank you!
Love this Priest 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉😃🙏🕊️❤️
You are CORRECT...I married outside the church... I returned to the church....my husband is not interested at all...very difficult...
Our house hold reflects the disharmony...
Marriage can be disolved, even the scriptures contemplated divorce for reasons such as yours.
Praying that the Holy Spirit be the foundation of your marriage. Let's pray for the Holy Spirit to make him docile to the faith and your relations as a couple.
Prau through the intercession of Mary and St Monica (patron of difficult marriage) for conversion 🙏🙏🙏
I love this priests messages. They're amazing! Thank you father, I needed to hear this as I am discerning a life changing job that I'm terrified to take. Sacred heart of Jesus I trust in you. God bless errrbody. 😀👍🏽❤
@Jacob Galvan Maybe God is calling her to work out in the world for now? We do not know that. Perhaps she is a nurse doing life-saving work, and God wants her to stick with that for now, training her to do missionary work in an impoverished country in the future. Who knows?
It sounds like your advice is based off your feelings.
So often in this secular world are the following words said: "Follow your feelings" when more often than not these lead us to a path of sin or, at the very least, we would not consider the choices we have carefully and thus later we find out we have erred. It is the easier path of course, so we do not have to think. Thank you for this video, I shall try my best to always give glory to God and not forget that so often, lost in my passion.
How can get copy of handout? Great homily!
I agree please pray for me
Thank-you Father for this valuable information. M a y Almighty God give you the grace you desire to continue teaching and helping others form His army. Amen.✝😇✝
Great Sermon!! I've attended two Ignatian retreats and found Father's summary very understandable, particularly for those who may not be as familiar with the Ignatian Rules - so much so that I'm planning to play this for my family this weekend. The linked book above is out of print and used copies available on Amazon (and elsewhere) are very expensive. It sounded like Father referred to a simple handout/pamphlet in his Sermon. It would be extremely helpful if that were made available to listeners. Thanks so much for the inspiration, Father!!
Thank you for thia Homily. I pray that Sensus Fideilium will continue and more people will subscribe unto this.
Thank you so much Father, Sensus and St.Ignatius- so many methods with each with easy to memorize steps.
God bless, Proverbs 31
Thank you father for this teaching. l will pray for you.
We need more priests speaking like this!
Thanks 🙏🏻
Amen 🙏❤
Excellent. Thank you.
According to scripture A choice is only good one when it is consistent with Biblical truths, sits well with our consciences and it is our free will desire to pursue its fulfilment for the betterment of Self, Family and society for the sake of God or goodness.
Ty
Let the perfect act.
What if i already made all the wrong choices...now i just cry in the confessional
How can i get copy of handout? Thanks.
@14:21 it looks like they used a photo from the Twilight movie series in a Catholic Homily.
The ending was surprising
Would it be against your Priesthood to hold me ..?.I'm never anything against the Glory of God coming upon you....no regrets if so...but tell me ...I have told my wish...
Love this priest!!! He is a true priest. Blessed are his parishioners.
Thank you Father. Very helpful. 3 Hail Marys for you.
What's up with the echo?
Neil D'Souza l love the echo. Reminds me of being in a great cathedral!
He's in church
Thank you Father Lampert.
Christ spoke thro you to me from this video and sermon. Thank you and God bless you
"done for the greater glory of god" - maybe one could fall into a utilitarian/consequential trap?
5:22 basis to take a decision
Thank you Fr.

Father I am 56 and I came back into the church in my early twenties. I used all of these methods to discern that I had a vocation to marriage and I still see that that probably would have been the best path for me in some ways maybe in some ways not however it never happened because I never met a man that I felt God was calling me to marry. I did meet a lot of very good Catholic men but not one that I felt God was calling me to marry. It was very frustrating because at the same time I did feel that God was calling me to be married and I was not willing to compromise and In some ways maybe in some ways not however it never happened because I never met a man that I felt God was calling me to marry. I did to meet a lot of very good Catholic men but not one that I felt God was calling me to marry. it was very frustrating because at the same time I did feel that God was calling me to be married and I was not willing to compromise and settle for somebody that wasn't Catholic. Sorry my text to speech and phone is just going a little crazy. So I don't know what God now was really trying to tell me. Did I hear him wrong? Was I not supposed to marry? Was I supposed to marry and I missed the person that I was supposed to marry? I don't know. Some people say it could still happen. But I'm 56 and I happened to believe that marriage is primarily for the raising of a family and I am well beyond child bearing age. So at this point it does seem rather pointless.
@Visual Effect Supervisor thanks for your honest reply. However how did I miss the mark? That's What I can't figure out. I did everything that I possibly could do to find a suitable person to marry.
@Visual Effect Supervisor I hardly think that not wanting to settle for someone who is not truly Catholic and willing to live the Catholic teachings is Extreme.
KMF maybe you will still be married, you may marry a widower with children.God Bless I will pray for you tonight
@@mariemiller8740 thanks but I don't think at this point it is as important as it was.
@@KMF3 To marry a non genuine practicing Catholic is gonna add pressure on the marriage.
Children need 2 parents on the same page.
A house decided will not stand .
Also what about the small decisions in life?
Thank you🙏
