Wow, I've been to Phuket just once, and I barely went out like you did. I am going back next month, and I have to do these food tours you've been doing.
I learned a few things so always good in a video..I also like Pineapple in curry as I love the heat, then when I hit the sweetness of fresh pineapple is like Heaven lol..also enjoyed Benjima's perspective and will follow her youtube..awesome as always Gary..You must be near to going to Bangkok?
I'm glad to be of service John! I couldn't explain the pineapple flavour any better myself lol...Benjima is a lot calmer than me which is good haha. I'm actually back in Bangkok now, just catching up with the last of the Phuket vids!
Usually we eat breakfast at hotel, but i would be the thing to go out eat. One time we were at dim sum place in Krabi town for breakfast and we really liked it. Khanom jeen taste like a real thai with all the fresh herbs 🤤🙏 Great enjoyable video👌
Yeah it can be tough missing all the food at the hotel breakfast! Helen loves it as well. But you are right Jouni, dim sum and khanom jeen are a must in Southern Thailand 👌
Can you do an episode that covers the various Thai herbs and their English name or the scientific/latin name, as I thought that you were eating pea Aubergines and Bettel leaves, now I realise that I don't know Thai herbs at all. Thanks Tony
You got the pea aubergines right, they are just called look chin regionally (I think) and the herbs we ate dis look like betal Tony! But, yes, I will get someone who knows what they are talking about to help me make one! Cheers mate
Yeah I thought that too Carl but I’d had cashew leaf that morning and it didn’t look the same,m. I think I was just overwhelmed and didn’t want to embarrass myself in front of my Thai friend haha
