Your chain slack was loose perhaps due to the bike was on the stand, if there was weight on the rear as normal, your slack would have most likely been optimal. If you adjust it on the stand, your chain may be too tight when weight is put on it.
I’ve the same bike in the same colour. My chain needed to be adjusted too at first service as the new chain will stretch according to my Aprilia dealer.
I was about to reply the same thing. I asked the dealer yesterday and he confirmed it is 5w-40. Then I double checked the manual and it does indeed say 10w 50. So weird I wonder why it changed.
That is incorrect. If you keep documentation and receipts of oil purchases, you are fine. A dealer cannot legally deny a warranty claim because you didn't service it with them.

the weight of the bike sitting on the stand is the same as it would be if it was on the ground...
Yes, but there is no load. When you sit on the bike it will sag down and that will put more tension on the chain........@@JetCityHooligan
@@ramsinator101 you don't sit on the bike to check the chain tension.

Great video,
My Tuono also feels like it has excessive chain slack, what measurement did you end up setting it too?
Thank you.
I think I ended up running a little more than an inch but the suggestion seems to vary a lot based on my research.

Makes sense but man that was some quick stretching lol.
Yes mine wasn’t as loose as that.
Luckily it's an easy fix.
Another great video, should do one on servo motor removal!
As of right now, it is just disconnected at the rear for the new exhaust. I will be doing a removal video in the spring!
Great video! Mines still in Italy being built ⏰⏳⏱🕰😩
It's okay, it's 0 degrees out here and I won't be able to ride for a few months 🤣😢
How did you reset the service wrench 🔧 on the dash?
At this time only a dealer is able to on these newer ones.
Oil is 5w40
Not for the 2021+.

Like!
Thanks for checking it out!
Service me.
Sometimes.
WARNING. If you do not get it serviced by a dealer you invalidate your warranty.
