Looking forward to the next naval vid! By the way, there is a minimum arming distance for torpedoes. If you look closely at the damage cam when you torped the second Mogami during the first game, you’ll notice one of them did almost no damage. You can find the arming distance for each torpedo in the stat card/information card.
Here are some tips for the secondary’s. First keep them on all target(surface and air) second use x-2 (secondary) and x-3 (aa) to give them targets. If you don’t give them targets, they will just shoot what they se first.

APHE = kills crew in heavily-armored spaces, penetrates into interior spaces and destroys machinery/spaces/crew in there (engine room, steerage, battle bridge, etc) SAP = hybrid of the two For BC/BB, you want to open with AP aimed at guns/ammo, just like with tanks. After a couple salvos of AP, I switch to HE and go to work on secondary/deck crew/other lightly-armored portions of the ship. I keep the secondaries loaded with HE if they have it and just keep them focused on the target I'm softening up. Remember to "cross their T". You can use your broadside, while they can only use fore/aft batteries, depending on where you've crossed them. Turn into a broadside to limit damage and protect your flanks. Aim AP at/slightly below the waterline. If you can get through the belt armor, sink em fast. For small fry (cruisers and down), penetrating at the waterline on a downward angle is nearly an automatic ammo-rack kill. Have your AAA guns open up on them too (X+3) for more chaos for them to deal with. Shooting a space once it's already black is useless.
