This is my happy place! I did a practicum with the community nurses travelling to peoples homes all around the Wairarapa and totally fell in love. I've been to all these places and really enjoyed it so I'm glad you did too! Climbed up to the Cape Palliser lighthouse to watch the sunset and it was super windy and dark by the time we were done. I had to go down the steps on my bum - going up is definitely easier.
Love this Kay and Dom :) :) The seals were so cute and the time lapse was stunning :) :) Hope you guys had a Good Christmas and have a Happy New Year :) :)
I'm obsessed with lighthouses, I would die to see some in person! Have you ever been inside a lighthouse? Gorgeous scenery as always, and the seals were adorable 😍
Hello you two well my husband and I think that going up stairs or uphill is easier than coming down.Wow those rocks dolook like it's a castle totally cool
Woah what an adventure you two had! I'm born and bred in the Wairarapa so all those places you went to in this vlog I have been many many times over my life! Great effort to manage all those places in only a few days! Hope you enjoyed my hometown and all that is surrounding it! :)
There certainly seems to be people doing it over here than Oz, but maybe we just see more people because the country's that much smaller haha. Thanks Libby 😊❤️
Hey both. What a fab video. I loved the pinnacle in your first trek. Formations were amazing, I too thought it looked like a derelict castle of some sort. Was it all Rock/stone as some if it looked like compacted earth ? Weather here pretty horrid!! Just kept my girls out (two tabbies - ladies!!) and now snuggled back in bed! What's a girl to do on a Saturday morning? Hope you're both keeping well. Take care and stay safe. Love and hugs Mo xxxx 💗💗💐💐
Thanks lovely, glad you enjoyed it! 😀 We're not 100% sure what it is it to be honest, it reminded us of sandstone or something. I don't blame you at all, I have Kendra cuddled up on my knee as we speak - she's also avoiding the torrential rain! Big hugs back xxxx

That's amazing! We always think it's funny watching other peoples vlogs when we've been to the place they're in 😀 Your hometown/country is AMAZING ❤️
NZ seems to be a lot more traveller friendly than Australia. Another great vlog :-).

Love to hear your thoughts on how you find that the North Island compares to the South Island.
Oooh thats a good one! Thanks for the idea! 😀
Omg that van was painted so pretty
Beautiful wasn't it! 😍
I admire your time management, we almost never managed to get to the campside before it gets dark😂
Hahahaha 😂 I (kay) always get so spooked if we arrive in the dark, campsites are always 100x creepier when you cant see 😂
