My subdivision isnt like yours in C4d R19. for R19 All i gotta do is enable the fillet in the tube and it's like I used the subdivision as in your video. does this work too?

Does C4d sill need to rely on a script to turn selections into regular shapes like circles? Does the Pivot or modeling axes support only placing snapping to other components or allows orientation/alignment as well without moving it?

Yeah, there is no internel tool to turn edges/pointa to circles.
You can modify axis of the objects without moving, you can do it by offsetting the modeling axis ( Move tool )

@@polygonpen any good video on this! I meant if you can rotate the axis to MATCH the orientation of another component or object without actual moving/placing the modeling axis from the original object/component. So you want only the rotation of the modeling axis be affected , not position

Hi, thanks for the video, brilliant as usual. Just a question, what if I need to select all the edges between two selected edges? I mean in a straight way.
I tried to select first edge, then hold Ctrl (Cmd) + Shift and clicked on edge further down, but it's not working, I'm in C4D 25.

It doesn't workk 100% everytime if the distance is too long between the selected edges, this might be the problem.

If you want to create a transparent material with a transparent png, it doesn't work well like that in C4D, instead you will need and extra alpha channel in black and white.
