Medical student hoping to open up a practice in the future. Dr. Choi, thank you for these videos. I've been looking for applicable, real-world advice that I can use in the future. Please keep these videos up!
Damn thanks man it means a lot to me. I will try to share as much as I can!
As a small business owner, I agree always interviewing is a good approach. But as a job seeker, especially an unemployed job seeker, it is very frustrating going for interview for jobs that don't really exist. As a job seeker you want to know there is a real job out there, not just going through the interview process. I believe this is why many job seekers are frustrated in the job hunt.
I definitely agree. Our office is always hiring, if the candidate is fantastic, I'll hire them. Impress me and I'll make a position for you.
Great advice here. Again, thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching! Are you a dentist?
@@Dr_andrewchoi My day job is in healthcare travel staffing actually; mostly in the surgical space. Frankly we stayed in business because people don't or are unable to practice what you talk about in this video.
@@LessThanPi exactly! I agree with you. I am alive thanks to those who can't do what I discuss. I am spreading knowledge that might make me bankrupt. LOL
@@Dr_andrewchoi don’t worry Dr. Choi. Most people don’t take advice to action unless they pay for it… and even then it’s a toss up. 🤷🏾♂️
Great video
thank you! thanks for leaving a comment too
Literally use of "doing God's work"
You broke it down saying that your objectives are
-meeting awesome people
-creating value and the best experience for patients
-expanding your comfort zone
-designing protocols for one accorded
-making time to broaden your paradigm
The fact that you say that you are objectively interested in learning from new people means that you understand the principle of mentorship. Essentially what the followers can do in your absence. You learned that this method is more practical than trying to take on all responsibility for yourself. And that there is power in the diversity of gifts, that you shouldn't have to do it on your own
This is characteristic of the melting pot dynamic of this country
Wow you summarized it succinctly and clearly! Awesome!
