Overall, the truck looks nice. That being said, there are a few things I would expect at this trim level. A bed outlet, bed lighting, power rear sliding window, push button start, and a sunroof. Not deal breakers, but things you expect these days on luxury trims.
My neighbor just got a 2021 canyon Denali and a 2021 canyon at4. One for him and one for his wife. Beautiful trucks
Can’t believe that this truck is nearly $50k and it doesn’t have push button start, a base model Nissan Versa has it and it’s like 1/3 of the price. Crazy
Push button start is actually annoying. Plus if someone is using a relay your truck can easily get stolen.
BTW, some $200K Porsche and Ferrari models don't have bush button start. Cost efficiency is not the reason behind it.

Supposed to get one soon. I test drove one and god dawg it's got so much headspace and it drives solid just like the sierra. And yes it's a Denali. I'm 6 ft tall and it's got tons of space for me to cruze with. These midsized trucks are getting solid and spacious. Including this one. I'm quite excited.

I’d considered getting one of these but I have a 2015 Canyon SLT and it’s essentially the same truck. I would have hoped for more updates on looks in 6 years, and a Denali price
Mopar guy here but if I had to buy a smaller truck it going to be that new Frontier or Tacoma .....those are hands down the best small trucks to me.
$32k plus tax is it's actual value. I have no idea why consumers think value is what dealers and manufacturers say it is.

The outside looks great. But the inside looks like 1980. I expect more from a Denali. It's 2021 why do they still have a turn key for the ignition? Overpriced
I prefer a turn key then push button. Push button is ass. If you got a push button I can easily take out your ignition security relay and steal your car within minutes.
@@goodmfvibes8821 Only benefit of the turn key is the old wheel lock.
In most cars basically have to hack the ECU or mimic the key relay, and their making systems a lot more complex.

To be a Denali trim, partial manual seats is not cool. The back window being manual also a deal breaker, I use that window so much for ventilation. Stuff like that is watering down the Denali name that has always stood for luxury.
Great that still there is a truck that uses a key great truck luxurious a lot of features and powerful
Honestly I think GM hit a homerun with the face lift on the AT4 of this truck
Hopefully the redesign will be more similar to the big brother Denali.

Pretty much everything is literally just a slightly fancier Chevy with the new Yukon being the only exception.
I wouldn't even compare the Sierra Denali to a Ram 1500 Larmie.
Hell even the new Nissan Titan looks more luxurious on the top trims.

I have a 2019 the updated front end is about all that changed for 21’

They're really watering down the Denali name with this one. My 2006 Envoy SLT had dual zone climate control, how does a 2021 Denali not have it?
I love the exterior look of this truck but no sunroof, no push button start, no bsm this thing is nowhere near luxury

It looks nice but you can't tow 7000 lbs with that if your payload is 1300. It needs a huge update to the interior and a couple inches of legroom in the back.

The is the easiest question ever. The answer is a definitive NO. A truck with NO rear air vents for passengers and still has a key is NOT Luxury. I am sure many other amenities are missing! Come on GM! I would not be this hard on them if the DENALI badge was not on the truck. Also the real Denali trucks (1500+) come with bigger engines and nicer upgrades. This is just a regular Canyon with a badge that says "Denali".
Most mid sized pickups are key start except for the ridgeline...although some don't call that a truck...

A Denali and it has half the comfort and convenience than it should... It's nice but should be about 30k
I have a 2019 Canyon long-bed in the Denali trim. Heater core just failed at around 40,000 miles just outside of the factory warranty. Pretty pissed at having to make such an invasive repair at such low mileage. I was actually looking forward to trading the vehicle in on a Sierra AT4 but I am now having serious reservations.
Maybe hold out and see what the 2022 Tundra looks like....
Now that the 22 Tundra is out, go get the at4.

I could definitely make better use of $50k.
I looked at the 2021 GMC Canyon Denali and i was not impressed, the exterior its a beautiful truck; however, the interior looks dated and in desperate need of a refresh and why all the plastic? and whats with still using a key? I moved up to the GMC Sierra Denali and same feeling, outdated, bland and very plastic feeling. Ended up choosing another brand.
If you needs hints on a video of what you dont like, let me help with what i didn't like:
1) Still requires a key
2) Dated interior
3) Lags in technology behind Ford & RAM
4) Very Plastic in the cabin
5) Found the ride to be stiff
What did you end up going with? If you don’t mind me asking

Push button start is not needed at all. Automakers have conditioned buyers to believe it is a “premium” convenience.
I hate that after 2016, they cheapest out and gave the canyon the same blue gauges and interior lights as the Colorado - rather than the red theme they had before. Silly.
Hint: take the vehicle someplace deserted and quiet to do the walk around...much less annoying

My 2019 Acadia Denali is MUCH better equipped than this thing. Full power memory seats, better info system on dash. Surround camera view, push button start and automatic heated, COOLED seats and seating wheel. Rear seats are heated on the Acadia too. Dual zone climate also. Adaptive cruise also. What was GMC thinking with this???

It's meh. I mean it's GMC so it's really a Silverado and they make ok engines, but where it all comes apart is all that other shit that goes around that engine. The interior looks ok, but you know, its all that other shit around the interior is where it all starts to come apart, literally and stop working..absolutely. But I'm sure GMC people hail it as the greatest truck ever. Better than the F-150 and 250, all Dodge's and even it's incestuous sister the Silverado. Let the hate begin.

Chevy is losing on looks, power, everything. And i own a chevy. I will not own another chevy i own a Silverado LT z71 4x4. Less than 80000 miles on my truck. I have all ready replaced the Ac. 1633.00$ then came the transmission. 5900.00$ then the rear main seal 2 times 650.00$ each time for a total of 1300.00$. The battery 2 times for 500.00$ each time for another 1000.00 $ what a piece of shit. Chevy scores a 12 out of a 100 on the ranking system. So basically chevy is selling piece of crap trucks to everyone. I was a loyal chevy guy. This was my 5th Silverado. The one before this one the engine blew at 56000 miles 13000 to replace it. Chevy just sucks.
