You made it so much easier to find an all inclusive for those last minute trips where you don’t want to spend too much. Very concise. Just what I was looking for. Thank you so much for this one.
I love Deja Resort, you literally walk across the street to doctors cave beach and starbucks and only a 5 min walk to margaritaville, coral cliff or 27/27 lounge.
@@_Vixxenn_ instead of saying the word cheap, how about we say they are budget friendly lol in all seriousness though, I will be there next month for 6 days after 5 days in Negril.
So glad I found your channel! I’m trying to plan a birthday trip for the end of August but the various amount of options has been overwhelming. Your videos have been very informative. I’m stuck between choosing the “luxury” experience, or being more immersed in the culture. I plan to make many trips to Jamaica, just trying to decide what kind of experience I want for my very first time there. I’m currently stuck between Bahia luxury and Deja/ other hotels located on the hip strip.
I see your dilemma. While Bahia Luxury is nicer by far, there isn't anything to do nearby and outside ofnthe property. You would have to drive quite some distance to immerse yourself into anything culturally. Bahia is one of those properties that you just stay there for the length of your stay. The strip, however, is a starting point to branch off everywhere. Well, you already knew that based on your research. If you want to party and celebrate, stay somewhere closer to the strip.
@@dinextadventure thanks so much for your reply! I’ve been doing more research since your comment and I definitely plan to stay closer to the strip, and may even book a tour guide for 1-2 days while I’m there to get the most out of the excursions. Deja is still an option but I’m looking for somewhere a little nicer, while not going too far over budget. Thank you again!!
@@dinextadventureGreetings thank you for your content. I notice Sandals. was not listed in your review. Do you have any feedback regarding any of the Sandals resorts? Thank you
Royal Decameron Montego Beach is where it's at!!! This was my first hotel stay in Jamaica, everything looks exactly like the pictures. Thank you for the well detailed overview on all the properties.
Love this review, I want to visit Bahia Principe Luxury, I have been to some of the other but they are really budget resort for a reason! You get what you pay for! If you just need to 😅escape to the sun 😮and some beach 🏖️ they are fine. Don’t expect luxury
You will enjoy the luxury side of Bahia. Also, it is awesome that you have access to the regular side and not the vice versa. Thank you for watching and commenting.
you put the right 1 @#1 Royal Decameron Club Caribbean "The most intimate hotel in the Caribbean" been there in 2016, 2019/20, 2024 and going back in June of 2025, I just can't get enough of this hotel the surrounding area and the friends I've made.
I am sorry. We cannot help with that one at this time. It is actually something that we are planning at the moment to do next year with a group of friends and their families but not finalized. Still in process. So, we can't recommend until we know we experience.
Hi Mari and thank you for watching. I strongly suggest Royalton Blue Waters or Grand Palladium Jamaica Resort. Both are quite nice, affordable and very, very accommodating to families and kids. I was actually looking to return to Grand Palladium this year.
Hi Veronica. Unfortunately, we do not have a tour of that hotel. We stayed there but at the time of visit, I didn't do a tour. I am sorry to disappoint you. However, may I suggest trying the Decameron Cornwall sister property next door? For just a few dollars more, it is much nicer and you have full access to the Montego side but not the other way around. It is also more modern. Depending on when you are going, it can be a great deal.
I planning weekend with my family of 10 for my birthday October 24 2023 but I need to book in from 23 to 25 how much will it cost .i am in jamaica with my family.
It is a night and day difference with the luxury section. We stayed there and certainly didn't come away with a pleasant experience either. Completely agree. The luxury side is much better and cleaner. Food is better and overall property is maintained properly. Staying on luxury side allows access to both.
Been to Jamaica several times. But Royal Decameron was my worst experience in Jamaica. I will never go back there. Never stay there. Their Montego Bay Cornwall property is much better and their Montego beach property is fine. The Grand Bahia was wonderful. But Couples in Ocho Rios and the Riu’s are my favorite ones.
Which of these ten would be the best choice for older people looking for a relaxing quiet holiday without the bells and whistles? Do any cater to vegetarians and have elevators? Do the properties have trams for people who can't go on long walks at the property?
Watch the video again before you comment next time. There are 3 Royal Decameron hotels. Two are in Montego Bay and are side-by-side. The third, which is the Royal Decameron Club Caribbean, is located in Runaway Bay and this is a fact. So the video is correct. Google can be your friend before commenting. I stayed there. So, I know.
@@fabulouskay8102 I had no issues. Based on the price, I received what I paid for. Would I go back there? Nope! I stayed there because of a wedding. So, it wasn't a a vacation per se.
Thank you for watching. I am sorry. That is not going to happen in Jamaica or probably any Caribbean island not owned by the US. First problem is, how are you going to get the dog easily in and out of the country? Jamaica, like many other Caribbean islands, is completely rabies free. As such, there is a quarantine period for animals entering the country. Unless you are mega wealthy with a private jet and private resort, it won't work. I am a dog person as well but it isn't allowed.

Trying to decide between the holiday inn and the royal decameron Cornwall. Which would u recommend??
Thank you for watching and commenting. If with Kids, Holiday Inn. If no kids? Go to Decameron Cornwall.

What are types of alternatives to all inclusive for older people looking for a quiet relaxing atmosphere? Are there videos of such alternatives?
Great content but that music is so loud its hard to focus on what you're saying.

I went to the holiday in, in Montego bay, the pool table was torn up, the alcohol, was worn down, it's more family friendly.
Wow!
Hey these prices you’re quoting is per room or per person
Great question. They are per room.

All inclusive? It sounds like ony breakfast is included meal-wise?
Oh no. You're incorrect in this one. All of these properties offer food all around the clock.

Bahia Principe LUXURY. Luxury side ONLY. Or Royal Decameron Cornwall ONLY. Clean, simple and a little slower than the rest.
