@@monsterjazzlicks Definitely piling on in favor of the view that she's an absolute genius, one of the greats, and too often not given her due as the equal of the other great big band leaders and composers like Mingus and Ellington.
I remember liking this album every time my late husband played it. When he passed, I looked for it and the closest I could get was Charlie Hayden's Liberation Music Orchestra. I'm so grateful that someone copied this album here. . .I was suspicious when my husband died that I had lost my mind, but maybe only that album. . .
