I love mine, also in .22. Can’t wait to try some slugs through it. Right now I’m using the Crosman Premier Domed pellets and it’s very accurate and consistent with them, which is great because they are pretty inexpensive pellets.
As always the intro or openings of your videos alone are unique and fantastic, definitely putting the Gunnar and scope on the bucket list. Plan on purchasing the new AEA Challenger pro soon, hopefully you mite review one in the future. You have a beautiful family and appreciate your products and videos more than you know....
I really appreciate your support and thank you for the great comments. Lucy's parents do join the cause occasionally and her father Frank loves to shoot.👍
Hi JC This definitely has to be one of the nicest guns you have done a review on. The scope wow 😮 The rifle definitely exceeded my expectations that thing is bad ass. Who wouldn’t appreciate the type of grouping at 40 yards. That is without a doubt one of the most accurate rifles you have ever done a review onreview on. Very impressive can’t wait to see what you are going to put up on the bench next. As always best reviews out there for air guns/LED lights/knives etc.
Hi JC, even though it's not the style of air rifle I like the most, I recognize that this new Benjamin with the Meopta scope is a great configuration. High price is always a relative thing, what's the point of buying a more economical one that doesn't perform well. Fantastic intro and review.. Congratulations Nitro e Mika. 🐕🐕👍
Awesome look JC. Sweet air rifle. Is it worthy of 100 yard accuracy testing? A lot of bottle air rifles with long barrels have flexing in the barrel and shroud. Do you think the Gunnar would benefit from a barrel / tank band?
Like anything else I am sure there will be some great sales at some point. I already saw a .25 cal with a massive discount. I appreciate you watching and thank you for your comments 👍
Now you know why I liquidate inventory. That balances out and besides I can't store anymore. You wouldn't be jealous if you saw my CC statement this month🙄
Yep, the Gunnar looks like a great rifle with that tactical AR look. The price point seems justified for what you are getting, with good performance. JC, how about doing a review of the Barra 1100z 22 cal., one day soon? The 1100z appears to be a competitor for Avengers and Origins. In other words good performance entry level PC's. The 1100z appears to be well engineered with a few features the others don't have. Think the 1100z will hold it's own with the Avenger and Origin. It would be interesting to compare performance and features with the Gunnar. Thanks
Not to be a negative Nelly but, with a 3000psi scuba tank you can’t fill this gun. You can add air but you won’t even get one full 3000psi fill and every top off after the first will be lower. If you get a 4500psi carbon fiber tank it’s very expensive and you have to fill it. It’s a bit misleading to recommend a scuba tank as a fill option. I’m only mentioning that so no one goes out to get a scuba tank only to learn this after the fact. It’s a very expensive mistake. You can certainly fill it with a hand pump but that would be a pretty big chore with a 500cc bottle. Probably the best fill option would be one of the new entry level compressors that run on 12v AND come with an AC to 12v converter. This option can actually cost less the a decent size carbon fiber tank and you can fill the gun at home or on the go. All that said if you plan to stick with pellets this seems like a very nice option. I haven’t personally tested one but my understanding is it is NOT slug friendly. The only other point I would make to Benjamin is they really to make the regulator externally adjustable.
HellYeah!! That rifle even exceeded it's expectations. I for sure love the looks of it. Perfect for me and my preferences. With a price like that - I dunno if to lean into the Hatsan Factor RC or this Gunnar... Most probably though to the one in-stock - whenever I can afford one.😂 And a way sweet scope to get introduced. I'd like a scope like that also.
@@AirgunDetectives Well.. It surely seemed like fun to shoot also. Nice to get allkinda settings to adjust according to use. And yeah.. I love the looks of it. Allkinda AR style PCPs are definitely my thing. Not been looking at FX Impacts anymore though..😁😁
Newsflash!! 4000 psi bottles can also be filled to 3000 psi. It sounds a bit ridiculous how you are repeatedly trying to sell-off some penny pinching as a feature.
Some require 4000 to get full power? - Example New benjamin 45 delivers 450fpe on 3000 fill. Others require 4000+ to get same power. I didn't name because, I know someone will out do me with a better example. 😆 I promise I'm not trying to be disrespectful. Just showing it in a different light. - We need to stick together right now Or we'll be shooting 12fpe max like EU...
@@dan-o9621 Its not so much about the power, its about the shot count. Power is determined by the rifles design. Most smaller caliber rifles will deliver their maximum power around 1800-2000 PSI, that's why there is a pressure regulator. If the maximum fill pressure is 3000 PSI, you would only have a range of around 1000 PSI of pressure were the rifle can perform in its sweet spot. A 4000 PSI capable rifle would have about double the shot count before it gets "of the regulator".3000 PSI is old school technology, despite the stupid claims that " they are easier to fill".
I'm not realy a PCP guy but that thing B-smacks a 40 yd. test I think gun can take a 5in. Target at 200 yds. with no Problem with the right Pellet or slugs.
That was my feeling when the bottle styles initially hit the market, but they grown on me. Now the performance is the key factor! Thanks for tuning in 👍
Might as well save your money and buy a kral Big Max almost identical same gun but half the price. I don't get why Benjamin is having kral make them almost identical same gun yet Benjamin is charging twice the price
Kral actually didn't make this model. They contracted with a sister company (R-----x) and built it to Benjamin's specifications. One of the most accurate PCP's I have shot. Thanks for tuning in 👍
Hey JC love your gun reviews, and your fabulous introductions. The dog 🐕 was totally cool. Lol 😆
Thanks William. I appreciate you tuning in!👍

32fpe is a sweet spot for 22cal with pellets. Very nice.
They did a good job with this one👍
Really like that set up.. Also I've purchased several items from BR and have been very pleased..
Terry has some great stuff👍😉
Awesome look JC. Sweet air rifle. Is it worthy of 100 yard accuracy testing? A lot of bottle air rifles with long barrels have flexing in the barrel and shroud. Do you think the Gunnar would benefit from a barrel / tank band?
I don't think it is necessary but It also wouldn't hurt. We may have to talk to Terry at BR and see if he can develop one😉
Hey JC. I also like a 3000 fill and look for PCP's with that pressure. Thanks again for a great review.
Thank you for your continued support 👍 😉
At some point in the next few years, can you do a “Benjamin armada vs Benjamin marauder” video? Awesome content as always🙏🏻💪🏼

Excellent review 👍🍻

Wish you would of tested the gun for noise with and without the suppressor.
Great video and gun.
Thanks.

Also...I have a review on a PCP rifle at the end of the month that will rock the airgun industry. I have no doubt. #staytunedforairgundetectives
If you have to choose between SWFA SS 12X42 and Meopta that you review on the video for airforce Condor 5.5 what will be your decisition
I have used both...The Meopta Hands down! It is an amazing scope for the money! Thanks for watching!

You can get a "special" compressor for the price of a scope nowadays, so i rather have a higher fill pressure and shot count.
Gunnar bullpup would be nice
Hey Mike I found this guy who realy is the DPMS tuner he has his own
UA-cam show Called Rumble Canada ask him to come on your show.
Can you do a vid on your 20 yard backstop? I noticed you walked up to it on the Gamo magnum jungle vid, the black backstop piece, what is it?
This may help ua-cam.com/video/aKK2dx_skoQ/v-deo.html
Watch towards the end👍
Can't decide which to get the ..22 or .25 for plinking, squirrel, rabbits, racoons, skunk, ground hog etc
Lol. LOVE your dogs bro!

Lots of positives going for this gun, the price reflects in the build and accuracy. it's better to not tune a cheap gun to shoot well, it's passe.
its build in Kral airgun fabric in turkey
