Ничего хорошего в этом ремне, просто залипательное видео. Качественный ремень не делается бутербродом.
да, трудозатраты такие же, но цельный ремень более надежен в тайге, клееные ремни для костюмных брюк придуманы.
Неужели они не могут изготовить ремень из толстой кожи без подкладки ? Значит заказ на такие, раз из делают.

That Nippy strip cutting machine at 1:41 has clearly had the guards removed from it. You can see the two mounting points on the frame for it. I wonder how many fingers it's taken off?

This looks like brildle leather, those belts will last a very long time.
I grew up in a 'mind your fingers' environment. Since then our litigious society has placed the safety burden on machines and their designers. That's not all bad, perhaps, but I still prefer taking personal responsibility for my safety. Like the guy who died when he drove off a collapsed bridge because that's where Siri told him to go, tech is never going to replace our own brain, and the more we depend on it to do that, the stupider we become.

Не в обиду мастерам, но овчинка выделки, точно стоит? Ремни по наследству передаваться должны? Я конечно не эксперт дел кожевенных, но такое ощющение, что это продолжатели традиций, аля люди искусства
стоит. снаружи тонкая кожа, внутри вставка, чтобы не тянулся. прошивка на машинке. какое по наследству?? ремень средней ценовой категории.
из толстой кожи, прошитый вручную по всей длине, с тиснением и т.п. - это можно передать на 1-2 поколения и то, если за ним будут ухаживать все это время.
Как специалист по коже, соглашусь. Обычные ремни, простая технология, никакого эксклюзива.
Не понимая сути ,не нужно умничать, они работу поставили правильно.
Мне кажется качество не очень хорошее, склейка из нескольких слоев - вместо одного полотна нормальной толщины. И машинный шов это тоже минус 🤷♂
Это брючные, видимо. Для джинс можно и из толстой кожи.

What makes this belt uniquely “Japanese,” compared to, say, a “Canadian belt” or “African belt”? I get that was made in Japan, but is there something specific that qualifies this other than the location of production?
I think it’s a combination of craftsmanship and quality of materials that people usually seek out in made in Japan products
Also, in many cases the tools they use, their process and finishing techniques are unique. Similar for a French made belt, and so on

@@user-ez4nq5ve2s я не пытаюсь вас переубедить, но кожа никогда не уйдет на второй план, это натуральный материал , и не с какой химической тканью или волокном не сравнится, придумывают красивые материалы, но и технологии выделки кожи не стоят на месте.

Глупо большие куски кожи сразу пускать на мелкие детали,хорошо-бы выкроить детали на сумки,а остатки пустить на ремни,есть ещё технология где мелкие остатки кожи измельчаются и перерабатывается на материал,не помню как называется!...

Согласен хрень! Мало чем от китайской, кроме цены, отличается! Я себе сам ремни делаю. Всегда кожа 3-4мм в один слой. Никакой проклейки-прошивки. Только крд, только правильной порезки.
Самому старому больше 20 лет, нормально служит и отлично выглядит.
@@denixespol8245 ну не все такие рукодельники ,как вы. Я купил армейскую партупею пропитал детским кремом,отлично носится уже пять лет. Думаю ещё долго прослужить.

@Ginn Freecs Did the title say these are special Leather Belts? A leather Belt is basically made from leather, that's it. No matter if it's from Hermes or LV, the same. They say Japanese Leather Belt because it's made in Japan, yes. But don't deduce what they did not mention, no one says Leather Belt from other countries are not special, only YOU do!

I don't see anything "Japanese" here. That's actually a standard European belt. Qualitywise, it looks like it has some sort of cheap inlay. Still well crafted, but nothing fancy.

The jazz ruined the video
A real leather belt you can depend upon that isn't a bunch of weak parts swen together, but is one solid strap of tough leather, is made in the southwestern part of the USA.
A single strap of leather is strong, for sure - but this type of belt is also about the style of it. The guys wearing these belts don't need the durability that someone riding horses or working in the field is going to need.

Cheap and bad belt! Good belts are made from a single piece of vegetable tanned leather 3-4 mm thick.
Not necessarily. You can make multiple layer belts with good quality supplies. Its just going to cost more. You can fpr example do a nicer outer layer thats thinner and use the flesh side pf skived leather to "fill" the center with a calfskin inside lining. Also finding a nice brass buckle pr even using exotocs fpr the exterior. But your talkong about a $ 300+ belt
@@googlecommies2039 no. I build belts. With all solid brass components and one piece full grain hide any size $50.
@@kevinhardy2667 yes that is normal and id say too cheap (depending on your leather quslity). A single piece of 10-12oz leather with brass buckle can go for at least $80-100, depending on your market. It is better qusliry then any chinese factory made belt at most rerail outlets, and even many higher end places.
@@googlecommies2039 I agree I do sell cheaper then most but I'm still making a little on it. I don't have a huge market where I'm at right now. I use 12 to 14oz English bridle.

Leatherworker here, masks arent for illness in this situation. Leather glue makes you nauseous and dizzy if you breath too much, and it looks like mr. Glue guy is center of the room lol.

А японским ремень называется только потому, что его изготавливают какие-то азиаты? Это и всё?
У меня есть несколько вопросов - 1. было бы это единичное изготовление, было бы интересно, а так это поток, 2. нахуя первый чувак обрубал кончик ремня, если девушка потом рубила, и 3. это не мастера, это дилетанты, все механизированно. Это не интересно. Обмельчали японцы.
