Jesus told Christians to pray for God's Kingdom to come and for His will to be done on earth as it is in heaven. The Kingdom is a heavenly government ruled by Jesus Christ as King, Isaiah 9:6,7; Matthew 5:3;Luke 1:31-33. Very soon God's Kingdom government will bring beautiful changes to the earth. There will be no more death, pain or sorrow on earth, Revelation 21:4,5. No more wickedness on earth, Psalms 37:9-11. The righteous hearted meek ones will inherit the earth and live forever on it, Psalms 37:29; Matthew 5:5; Proverbs 2:21,22. God's Kingdom government will bring an end to all other rulership and the Kingdom will rule forever, Daniel 2:44. Jesus will do on a grand scale what he did when he walked the earth, excluding resurrecting those who are asleep in death, John 5:28,29. The earth will be cultivated into a Paradise like God intended in the beginning, Genesis 1:28; Isaiah 55:11. We must worship the Father with spirit and truth in order to receive everlasting life and the blessings that God has promised, John 4:22-24; Isaiah 42:8; John 17:3. Pray for truth and understanding of God's Kingdom government! It's just around the corner!
I started drinking when I was 16. I would drink at parties, but I also started drinking alone because I was unhappy, and I was in a lot of emotional pain all the time. My mom was very aggressive when I was younger, and my brother hated her and so did I. He started hanging out with shady people, he started failing all his classes, he was never home, and my parents fought all the time. I also ran away several times. I was always trying to figure out a reason as to why I was here or what the purpose of life was. So, I started looking at different philosophies, religions, and beliefs. When I was 18 after I was hungover, I got on my knees and I prayed for the first time. I asked if God was real that he would show me he was real because I couldn’t take it anymore. I was crying when I prayed for this. At that moment I felt a presence come over me like a wind. It was barely noticeable, but it was unlike anything in my life I had experienced up until that point. I was surprised when I felt it and I remember saying “what was that?” after that experience I pretty much forgot what happened and kept partying, until my senior year when I got arrested. After my arrest, my parents lost all their trust in me and I was expelled from high school. I was told never to come back. At that time, I felt afraid and hopeless. That’s when I started looking for God, and I prayed that he would reveal himself in my life and that he would give me signs. My prayers began getting answered so consistently that I couldn’t deny that God was doing something. It was mysterious and compelling. I ended up in Church and started reading the bible hours a day. I stopped hanging out with all my other friends because they were continually getting arrested. I was able to forgive my family and myself and to ask to be forgiven. I noticed how at Church people were judgmental and how they formed cliques but were afraid to be around anyone else different from them. It increased my faith because I realized Jesus was not like that and ever since I was young, I saw people as people regardless of who they were. After a while, it’s like I could see God's presence was in my life and then it felt like he wasn’t, and then he was, and then he wasn’t. One day I woke up and felt more depressed than I ever have in my entire life. I felt like I was dying on the inside. That night I prayed, and I said, God, I don’t see my life five years from now I'm going to die Jesus save me Lord, please save me. I was weeping when I said it and when I asked him to save me, I felt a presence inside of me like a heartbeat, and I felt it once like a pulse, and I said Lord please save me and I felt it again even stronger. It was like radiance. When I woke up the next morning, I had transformed everything felt brand new like I was a kid again. All my fears and all my racing thoughts everything was gone. I looked at my hands, and I said this can’t be real it’s impossible. When I looked at myself in the mirror, I saw a different person. I started praying, and the holy spirit became entirely real to me it was washing over me and inside of me. It was total love and peace, and I heard a voice but not an audible one, it was an inner voice. It said I am with you; I love you, I will never leave you, it’s done it’s finished. That was May 3rd, 2009, and ever since then I’ve followed God, I have seen many things change and many things I know wouldn’t have changed without faith and belief. I know what it’s like to be lost to feel you have no hope. Don’t ever think you’re stuck, or life can’t change because it can. My mom is a Christian now, Its night and day. Some of the things that went away during that period were severe anxiety and my addiction to alcohol. I’ve seen and experienced so many things that are miraculous and seen how God has worked in my life. When we ask God to forgive us for what we’ve done and turn away from our sins and wrongdoings and we believe in Christ's sacrifice everything changes. His word says if we confess with our mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in our hearts that he died and rose again we will have eternal life but not just life after death but abundant life in the present. Our sins are erased not only past, present, and future but our burdens and fears are lifted also. Our thoughts, our minds, our hearts, our souls are transformed and united with God and we know his spirit lives in us. If you seek, pray, and knock you will know JESUS IS KING!!! HE LIVES!

I already know the story of our salvation and yet every time someone speaks of what Jesus had to go through, it touches me all over again. It's like it gets deeper every time I hear it again.

With the attention span of today's instant-gratification culture, longer videos would go unwatched. These are much more viewable for our not-yet believing and seeking friends.
God gave the Knowledge To invent 📺 television and we have to Share the Word of God (Gospel) on TV Channels Or shows . Instead we are spreading only secular stuff.
This brought me to tears. What an immeasurable love and what a wonderful thing when the Lord's servants use their gifts to spread the word with such amazing artistry.
The gospel is proclaimed that people might be saved, qualified, and equipped to enter into the kingdom. Regeneration is for the kingdom (John 3:3, 5). If you have not been regenerated, you cannot enter into the kingdom of God. When Christians preach the gospel now a day, most of them always talk about sin, heaven, and hell. Hardly anyone speaks about the gospel as related to the kingdom. But in its first preaching of the gospel, the New Testament tells us to repent for the kingdom. The gospel is for the kingdom. The purpose of the preaching of the gospel is that men might enter into the kingdom. The gospel of the kingdom brings the rebellious sinners into the church. But now we need to see what is the reality of the church. The reality of the church is the kingdom. If you have been saved, washed, and regenerated for the church, it means that you have experienced these things for the reality of the kingdom. The way to bring others out of the world and into the kingdom of the heavens is not by today’s superficial gospel but by the gospel of the kingdom of the heavens [Matt. 24:14] The gospel of the kingdom includes not only forgiveness of sins (Luke 24:47) and the impartation of life (John 20:31) but also the kingdom of the heavens with the power of the coming age (Heb. 6:5) to cast out demons and heal diseases (Isa. 35:5-6; Matt. 10:1). www.bfa.org/ www.livingstream.com www.recoveryversion.org/
I have been in church my whole life, been a worship leader and served the Lord to the best of my ability but I always struggled understanding the stories and theme of scripture. I knew lots and lots of scriptures and could quote them but with no real knowledge of context. well, I am glad to say that these videos have changed my walk with the Lord, when I read I have a level of understanding of the big picture that I've never had before! I mean this, you guys have changed my life and opened my eyes in a way I didn't think would happen! a real answer to prayer!
I love Jesus so much. I hate to think about my King & God up on the cross. But I am so grateful & feel honored & privileged to worship & know such a worthy loving God. All glory & praise of mine is due to Jesus, my everything.

I really appreciate the language of giving Jesus your allegiance rather than the words that imply simply mental assent. The bible project is so in touch with recent biblical scholarship, it's so encouraging. Our faith is to be an embodied allegiance to the king of the universe who is ruling and reigning from heaven through the holy spirit, and he must reign until all his enemies have been put under his feet

Bro the bible is so bad! Like the plot is flat there is hardly any character development and the whole story overall is trash. And who's idea was it to have multiple authors it ruins the flow and it is so poetic that it becomes really bad. But bro don't get me started on the bibles ending! Worst thing ever trash cliff hanger and when is bible 2 the electric boogaloo being released? It has been forever since bible one was released! One of the worst reading experiences in my life! The whole Bible is garbage and a confusing trash mess. 1/10 would most defiantly NOT recommend to a friend!

I've listened to the podcast for a while now and I really appreciate the academic approach to the Bible, not just daily suggestions for living(like sermons) but a really in depth Bible study that answers questions I have and some I didn't know I had. You guys are truly doing the work of God! The Bible Project has given so much growth and a clearer understanding of the word and character of God! My 9 year old Son and I have been watching videos every night for 3 years now, and we still are excited for them. It is an indescribable feeling to hear my son talk about the bible and hear him thank Jesus every time he see's a cross. Seeing God work in the heart of such a young boy, through the hearts of such amazing selfless and driven people is incredible! I'm so very grateful that this project is available to us for free. Thank you so much! ya'll are changing lives and introducing the Word in a way we don't hear enough of in the West. thank you again!

Jesus didn't die in the cross in order to gain the sympathy of his followers, to then give them the command to do the same (Which is the impression I get from this video). He died in the cross to redeem us from our sins, in that way he saved us from the consequence of sin: dead. And he died for the father to propitiate he's justice upon us. It is important to make that clear about the cross. And in regard to our lives as Christians he didn't expect us to be helpless people against the world. He wanted us serve people with love but at the same time to be shrewd as snakes. This is the first video of the channel I don't agree with entirely. I think the principal concept of the gospel is lost, impregnated with a postmodern world view which overstate the role of compassion and humbleness. The general content of the channel though is extraordinarily good. And it continues to be a blessing for my life. Excuse my english, if it's not perfect. I'm not a native speaker.
I am also a non-native speaker. Totally agree with you, brother. Jesus didn't die on the cross just to show and build an "up-side-down kingdom". He died on the cross because someone had to take the punishment for the wrath of God which was upon us. None of us could have done it, so God who is extremelly merciful provided his own son to pay the debt of sin. The modern gospel romantizes Jesus's sacrifices to only love when it actually has a lot of wrath as well. The cross is a perfect picture where love meets wrath and vice-versa. Jesus is not only a lamb, he is also the lion of Judah, and many people will get surprised and won't recognize him when he returns to bring his earthly kingdom about. The great day of the Lord draws near, and He will bring judgment to everyone who isn't covered by his redeeming blood. Don't get surprised if you don't find the same "suffering" Jesus when He returns, people.
I don’t recommend bible project for proper theology. And I’m not trying to prop myself up or to be condescending. But this is completely postmodern doctrine which spiritualizes literal promises about the kingdom. There is a reason that the jews expected a physical kingdom, and it will come. God doesn’t change.
@@emarvin135 The Jews also commanded that a live bird must be dipped in the blood of a dead bird in order to cure leprosy, which is crazy talk. The Jews also commanded that adultery should be punished with death. God doesn't change, but religions do, because humans are fallible. If the Jews had everything right, there would be no reason for a New Testament. Jesus brought a profound paradigm shift... including that "the kingdom of God is within you."
@@theTavis01 Because certain Israelites got some things wrong doesn't preclude the fact that there will be a physical kingdom on earth that will be headed up by Israel-The Kingdom. Also the New Testament is a man made concept. Christ taught from the Old Testament. This is why He and the Apostles kept the Holy Days like Feast of Tabernacles and others found in the OT. Christ didn't come to change what His Father laid out. He continued in it. This is why He did not come to all nations but to Israel. You are reiterating modern Christianity theology which is replacement theology.

If you have not been regenerated, you cannot enter into the kingdom of God. When Christians preach the gospel now a day, most of them always talk about sin, heaven, and hell. But now we need to see what is the reality of the church. The reality of the church is the kingdom. If you have been saved, washed, and regenerated for the church, it means that you have experienced these things for the reality of the kingdom. The way to bring others out of the world and into the kingdom of the heavens is not by today’s superficial gospel but by the gospel of the kingdom of the heavens [Matt. 24:14] The gospel of the kingdom includes not only forgiveness of sins (Luke 24:47) and the impartation of life (John 20:31) but also the kingdom of the heavens with the power of the coming age (Heb. 6:5) to cast out demons and heal diseases (Isa. 35:5-6; Matt. 10:1).

I have been in church my whole life, been a worship leader and served the Lord to the best of my ability but I always struggled understanding the stories and theme of scripture. I knew lots and lots of scriptures and could quote them but with no real knowledge of context. well, I am glad to say that these videos have changed my walk with the Lord, when I read I have a level of understanding of the big picture that I've never had before! I mean this, you guys have changed my life and opened my eyes in a way I didn't think would happen! a real answer to prayer!

This is one of my favorite videos from them “how beautiful are the feet that bring good news” it really touched my heart when the beginning and the end clicked and came together in my understanding Jesus is my lord and savior.
I really appreciate the language of giving Jesus your allegiance rather than the words that imply simply mental assent. The bible project is so in touch with recent biblical scholarship, it's so encouraging.
Our faith is to be an embodied allegiance to the king of the universe who is ruling and reigning from heaven through the holy spirit, and he must reign until all his enemies have been put under his feet

Bro the bible is so bad! Like the plot is flat there is hardly any character development and the whole story overall is trash. And who's idea was it to have multiple authors it ruins the flow and it is so poetic that it becomes really bad. But bro don't get me started on the bibles ending! Worst thing ever trash cliff hanger and when is bible 2 the electric boogaloo being released? It has been forever since bible one was released! One of the worst reading experiences in my life! The whole Bible is garbage and a confusing trash mess. 1/10 would most defiantly NOT recommend to a friend!

My 9 year old Son and I have been watching videos every night for 3 years now, and we still are excited for them. I love the bible project.. its so cool.. learning about God and every thing that's connected to him this way makes me giddy.. so grateful.. I'm appreciative for this. I needed it. Thankyou.
Jesus didn't die in the cross in order to gain the sympathy of his followers, to then give them the command to do the same (Which is the impression I get from this video). He died in the cross to redeem us from our sins, in that way he saved us from the consequence of sin: dead. And he died for the father to propitiate he's justice upon us. It is important to make that clear about the cross. And in regard to our lives as Christians he didn't expect us to be helpless people against the world. He wanted us serve people with love but at the same time to be shrewd as snakes.
This is the first video of the channel I don't agree with entirely. I think the principal concept of the gospel is lost, impregnated with a postmodern world view which overstate the role of compassion and humbleness. The general content of the channel though is extraordinarily good. And it continues to be a blessing for my life.

Jesus didn't die on the cross just to show and build an "up-side-down kingdom". He died on the cross because someone had to take the punishment for the wrath of God which was upon us. None of us could have done it, so God who is extremelly merciful provided his own son to pay the debt of sin. The modern gospel romantizes Jesus's sacrifices to only love when it actually has a lot of wrath as well. The cross is a perfect picture where love meets wrath and vice-versa.
Jesus is not only a lamb, he is also the lion of Judah, and many people will get surprised and won't recognize him when he returns to bring his earthly kingdom about. The great day of the Lord draws near, and He will bring judgment to everyone who isn't covered by his redeeming blood. Don't get surprised if you don't find the same "suffering" Jesus when He returns, people.
I don’t recommend bible project for proper theology. And I’m not trying to prop myself up or to be condescending. But this is completely postmodern doctrine which spiritualizes literal promises about the kingdom. There is a reason that the jews expected a physical kingdom, and it will come. God doesn’t change.
@@emarvin135 The Jews also commanded that a live bird must be dipped in the blood of a dead bird in order to cure leprosy, which is crazy talk. The Jews also commanded that adultery should be punished with death. God doesn't change, but religions do, because humans are fallible. If the Jews had everything right, there would be no reason for a New Testament. Jesus brought a profound paradigm shift... including that "the kingdom of God is within you."
@@theTavis01 Because certain Israelites got some things wrong doesn't preclude the fact that there will be a physical kingdom on earth that will be headed up by Israel-The Kingdom. Also the New Testament is a man made concept. Christ taught from the Old Testament. This is why He and the Apostles kept the Holy Days like Feast of Tabernacles and others found in the OT. Christ didn't come to change what His Father laid out. He continued in it. This is why He did not come to all nations but to Israel. You are reiterating modern Christianity theology which is replacement theology.
