Southern lights! Bloody amazing!
Great photography mate, beautiful skies. Love from 🇬🇧.
You have the best fishing channel on UA-cam. Thanks for the awesome content. Cheers from Vermont, USA.
What a stunning spot. Truly amazing. That overnight time lapse with the aurora was next level. ❤
Yep,loved the aurora, rock formations and all the usual Giddo food collection camp out/explorations.Come get me please😂
Always a fun & exciting experience, Gido! The abalone catching was way cool. Plus the cliff overhang & rock caves. Thanks for taking us along. Texas fans in the house. See you next trip. 🤗👍❤️🇺🇸
Great. My early Sunday morning UK treat. 😊
Your western rock blackfish are our black drummer, bloody delicious on this side of the country!
Loved your night sky finish and nice spot for a night dive along the edge for crays
Gido, as your video starts, my mouth starts to water, anticipating what you are going to cook.
Gido, i can't believe how beautiful this part of your lifestyle is !! It really is paradise ! WOW !!
Hi Gido
Thanks for sharing your adventures in the south. When I was a kid my father had me collect Abs. He would beat the living daylights out of them and cook them for ages. Tough and unappetising. They used to be called Muttonfish. I have since learnt… get the cooking surface hot and cook for about 30 sec each side dipped in egg and breadcrumbs…or a bit of coke and chilli red hot wok.
Better than what's on the TV thanks
Stunning time-lapse footage. Thank you!
that first fish is beautiful
Very beautiful
Wow, amazing Aurora footage - can't believe how busy the sky was!!f
You have allways the most beautifull locations mate. I hope to have sometimes a similar camping experience ✌️
Beautiful scenery, thank you!
The southern lights were amazing on Friday night. Been pretty cool to watch from out that way.
Surprise you didn’t get a few grouper loaded out there. Awesome footage. 👍
For best results with fish roe, ideally you would finely chop some shallots, red onions, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, beacon and celery. While these items are gently sautéing in 50/50 butter and olive oil find yourselt two firm pieces of firm brown cardboard and a length of garden wire or stout twine. Drain the sautéed ingredients when cooked and place them on one piece of the cardboard along with the, as yet, uncooked roe. Place the other piece of cardboard on top and bind tightly to avoid spillage. The parcel should then be placed in the oven at 180° for 25 to 30 minutes. Remove your parcel from the oven and carefully remove the binding. You should then remove the filling and throw it in the bin. Eat the cardboard, it will taste far better than anything that has been even remotely near fish roe. 😂
When I saw cardboard mentioned in this I knew what was coming 😆
I've probably said it before, but you should get your self studded shoes,i use it when wading and fishing along same type structure, and i am a big man at 120kg , and can walk pretty much straight up or down whit out slipping,it was a game changer for me at least
This is amazing man. That crazy rock looks like a badger to me haha. So cool. As always thanks for bringing me along
That cave overhang looked heavy and ready to fall. Then when you slipped I jumped thinking it had fallen. Glad you’re safe.
I reckon this is your best episode yet Gido! Thnx mate you’re awesome
i love how every episode is an adventure, and not just oh wow i caught a big fish (although i love the big fish episodes too)
Everyday is an Adventure in Australia because mostly everything around wants to Kill you!
Loved the structure looked awesome the aurora stralis was amazing too gido
I was lucky enough to be at Bruny Island for the May 11 Aurora activity, and it was epic. Will never miss taking the opportunity when it comes up.
I have watched you fish on your own in some pretty hairy places...big climbs and slippery spots. I hope you carry an emergency beacon for the possibility of a crippling injury! Another great video...thanks Gido!
The Northern Lights were seen here in Central Texas, Thursday night this past week!
Yes lots of Aurora activity lately. This was filmed a few days before I started seeing it all over social media. Would love to see it overhead like you get it in the northern hemisphere. Or Antarctica
What fantastic places you find. Awesome
9:26 mark that spot mate, am moving over there..AWESOME spot indeed😎🤟🤟
Thanks mate excellent as usual. Love the rod cam. Hawrassed multiple times.
timelapsed sunset amazing with starlit heaven
I am very impressed with your professionalism and talent. Thank you for your creativity and dedication!💌😃🐘
Some great footage there Gido, just before you slipped over I said he is Gunna slip so weird, great video thanks again keep them coming
+1
Guess I should have seen it coming myself. Probably too distracted with the rock overhang. Cheers 👍🏼
that wet granite where it goes black is deadly
Great video, perfect cam work, always look forward to your adventures! Fish on....
Another great video and location. The willy wagtail is a good touch.
Looks awesome, would love to be there.
But it does help to finish the Night Shift (european time). :)
Thank you kindly for your work and taking us along
❤
Awesome time lapse mate.
Deine Videos sind einfach Top!
Aloha Gido! Awesome Aina ( land) there… Great to see the catch and cook!
Legendary content as always!
What an adventure you are on!!!
Always love your videos Gido.
Abalone are the perfect foraging food for rock climbers. You get a grip workout when ya catch 'em. Another one as you shuck 'em. And then you get to eat them.
Epic time lapse!!!
in asia we pan fry the fish roe with a little sugar with spring onion and ginger with a little dark soya sauce. its amazing when the sugar balance out the bitterness.
Spent some time in Alaska and the flies and mozzies drove me insane, landed up having to wear a net over my head to keep them out of my ears, eyes, nose and mouth. Thanks for dragging my fat rear end along with you. Cheers mate, keep on hook in and cookin. Ow
Roe is better in batter, protect the eggs from direct heat which is why it tastes powdery. Loved the Aurora. As always another great episode ❤❤
Thanks for the tip. Was stoked to capture the Aurora, was a nice surprise
😂❤so nice the nightsky👍🏼👍🏽
Bloody flies mate. I would of left way before you 😆 Thanks for the vid 👍
Love your work mate.
Harassed by Wrasse. Nice time-lapse with aurora australis. 🤓🎣👍
Yeah 👍 buddy nice work 💯🎣
You should start up a Gido's eating utensils line utilising readily available fishing paraphernalia 😊😊😊
Thanks Gido!
ha...im the 1k like.good to see you back hitting it mate
Super cool to know that y'all have Southern Lights!!! Awesome vid as always. I would really dig that Brother!!! You can keep the cliff rapelling, climbing & camping! Keep posting it please though!!! That's some unique, cray-cray 💩 Dude!!! Everything else looks fun as heII!!!
Very beautiful place
Amazing footage of rocks forms and aurora. Dhufish when? It's been a minute.
Kewpie hack. When you have squeezed the life out of the bottle blow it back up and turn it upside, get the rest of that deliciousness out
You are a legend
I ate a wrasse that I caught in Alaska. It's meat was a pale blue-green color. It turned white after you cooked it. Not bad either.
I'm glad you didn't edit out that slip😂,you let us see that we are not the only ones that land on our rear end😅
Haha yep it happens sometimes
Wrass makes good slide bait for GT 👌. We use them in Hawaii. It's like candy to them here lol. Smaller size lol.
As soon as I saw the black patch I went "Oh Ohh!"
good job gido
Where is this amazing place?I would love to take a vacation here.I love it.
😂❤super Location, nice 🐟
Another good one gido
Captured a galaxy there too, right above the aurora. Or one of the Magellenic clouds?
Another great adventure by Gido as always
Was the blackfish good again? Could you tell the difference between that and the Harley? You should do a series on the undesirable fish and rate them
That cove looks like the one in the video when you caught the Samson fish with fly rod😮🤔
Awesome mate. How’d the drummer (aka wrbf) go on the chew?
Do you have halibut there? They are really good to eat. Great videos
That little bay looks like there would be squid in there.
As usual another great video Gido . Hey mate can you possibly tell me where I can get one of those Vegemite beanies from?
Should be available from the Vegemite website 👍🏼
@@gidosfishingadventures Thanks mate, just checked them out and of course their out of stock, must be popular
Rock wave - literally
Hey buddy, you don’t need to bash abalone, get your oil very hot and cook about 40 secs on each side, that’s the trick, you can cut with a plastic knife
Hey bud, big fan, love your vids except the ones hanging from your tips. I feel like I'm going to fall. cheers
That’s ha-wrass-ment!
That rock was a huge T-Rex dinosaur 😅
Hey Gido!
Could you please explain what the red glow and the red-violet streaks are in the night sky (place 24:40). Here in the north of Norway, they are called northern lights, what about you?
I mentioned them shortly afterwards. Southern Aurora. We don’t normally see it around here. Only on rare occasions
Fish roe is best when salted and deepp fried. Simple as is. Sinoly deep fried it
I think over east they call those black fish luderick. Not sure if they are the same fish.
Luderick are different and I think they have a stripe on them. But they do have rock blackfish which are targeted over there. Just an eastern variety are more sought after. Also called Black Drummer over there
@@gidosfishingadventures either way its another species we were led to belive wasnt good to eat that is ok.
Great video as always mate.
Must have been a lot of birds around keep hearing it in audio
hope your shoulder is okay mate
Bruised elbow but it’s all good. Hasn’t stopped be doing anything just hurts if I bump it
best fishing channel bar none

Beautiful spot but not.much fish❤❤
Too cold for oysters? always plenty abalone
