Paco Pena was one of the first Flamenco Virtuosos I came to listen to along with Carlos Montoya in the EARLY 1970's then SABICAS, NINO RICARDO, PACO DE LUCIA, MANOLO SAN LUCAR, DIEGO DEL GASTOR, MORAITO, GERARDO NUNEZ and still many others in this present day. PACO is THE STANDARD of TRADITIONAL FLAMENCO along with the GREAT TEACHER 'JUAN MARTIN'.
Como me alegra ver que unos extranjeros toman este arte con la seriedad que se merece y con un maestro como Paco Peña a su lado

buenos guitarristas, seguro muy aplicados alumnos del gran maestro Paco Peña, pero a esta interpretación le falta "pellizco", y eso es algo que lo tienen que aprender en las juergas flamencas, algo que dudo que se vuelva a repetir.

@@alaajasim Entonces has escuchado y visto poco flamenco. Paco Peña es un buen guitarrista y maestro pero en España casi nadie lo conoce y aquí el flamenco ha existido y ha evolucionado muchísimo sin Paco Peña. Digo esto con todo mi respeto Para Paco, que es un gran profesional.
@@pepenana2006 Mentira. Paco es si muy respetado en España. Incluso muchos de sus alumnos holandeses van a España y se fijan trabajando ahí, porque son muy bien preparados por el maestro. "Casi nadie le conoce"... Pff. Tienes que salir de tu agujero.
Why? Because he doesn't add jazzy chords to his compositions? Or is it because he doesn't use a different tuning for each piece?
Listen to his discography. If you have already, listen again. He has a lot of awesome compositions. Rock solid, and not obvious. It is unbelievably hard to do what he does: composing new pieces but sounding "old", maintaining a high level of musical discourse.
@@gcapeletti Creo que más bien tú deberías salir y venir a España para ver cómo es la realidad de la guitarra flamenca aquí, que ha evolucionado hasta límites cósmicos fuera de la línea de Peña. Ya he dicho antes que lo respeto y es un buen profesional. Creo que no has entendido mis palabras. le contestaba a Alla Jasim que dice que no puede imaginar el flamenco sin Paco Peña. Yo te digo que él toca flamenco de museo como hace 50 años, lo cual no está mal, es verdadero flamenco, pero el hecho de que él no viva en España no influye en el desarrollo del flamenco, porque aquí hay , no cientos, sino miles de guitarristas con más nivel que Paco peña, al que admiro y respeto por lo que ha sido como embajador del flamenco fuera de España.
Sólo más bordones que punteos básicos, un poco Ino portunos no dicen nada. Ni tan alegremente rasgueos...
