Got 2 of these a couple weeks ago from Amazon, absolute bargain at £12 each & work really well for foaming the car if you can't be arsed with PIR etc. Just wish a bigger one for a few more quid was available as 1.5L isn't enough for a full car hence why I bought 2 👍
FYI the feet are designed the way they are because if it was a flat base the pressure disforms the bottle & it doesn’t stand upright at all. Just keep the handle lined up with one of the 3 legs & it sits upright perfectly fine 👍
Good evening. I bought the same sprayer from amazon a few months ago. I've found it very useful but you do have to sprint round the car. I've got into the habit of not screwing the top on fully when storing, to stop it falling over. The first time it did fall off the table and got booted around the kitchen.
I'd like to see the thoughts on using an airless sprayer. I've seen Apex Detailing use that for spraying rinseless washes instead of paint
Got mine today. Looks and feels sturdy. It's not super high class equipment, but for what it is worth. Does the job.

Stuff like this never used to interest me, but I've recently moved from being on a non-metered water supply to a metered one, and the bills are shocking. Suddenly I'm interested in anything that can be used to clean the car with less water.
Gloria CM12 and FM30 should also be mentioned when it comes to premium sprayers / foamers. Most efficient pump mechanism I've found.
I bought these last year, obviously it was a lot cheaper then but they work great as long as you remember to let the air out and recharge it because the stand by battery life on mine was crazy good. I had one sitting for months without using it and the battery was still good enough to push foam months later. But mind you I bought mine last year so I’m almost a year in now.
What Is the best alternative for us city folks with no access to a hose?
I have to use those manual washers at the gass station. But there's no snow foam. I use "Kwazar Pianownica Foamer Venus" (horrible name) hand pump bottle. Nothing spectacular in any way. I use GSF snow foam, which should be high on the "good products" list.

i use those IK pump up sprayers for 3 things. prewash, APC and wheel cleaner, for everything else i use normal triggersprayers. the way i use those pump up sprayers is i fill them up about 80-85% and then the first 4 pump will do one side of a normal size car, in the past i have used triggersprayers for that but its really not effective and if you detail about 150 cars a year i think for some jobs those pump up sprayers are more effective but i guess its up to everyone what they prefer. i know the pressure should be released after using them but i never do that and they still last up to 6 months which is fine by me because if i need new ones i dont have to pay for them anyway haha
Just got mine today (3.99) and love it, used touch-less, will leave in car for emergency when I’m out and about

Have been eying these and other models last two weeks on AE and Temu. But have never seen them that cheap. Now cheapest for this model is around €18,- on AE. That is with 'Choice', so included shipment. Not a very different price than the last times I checked. So good bargain for you :)

I find both manual pumping and manual spray triggers so primitive ways when there are these machines now.
I had made 2 of these already with air compressor.
I don't have pressure washer and this is a viable solution.
If you fill it up (almost) it develops pressure quicker. You can use something cheaper or in lower dilution than 1/10 surfex hd
IK has an updated foam sprayer with a port to fit on an air compressor (better for a portable compressor). its good enough to cover my entire motorbike so worth checking out.
someone will make one with nice docking station system in about a years time. then all the chinese companies will copy it etc...

Hi John, I accept that your references to “half an hour pumping” was a throw-away line, but I spend about 30 seconds pumping my Marolex sprayer and can cover my car without pumping again. Certainly saves stress on the old carpel tunnel from using a trigger spray….lol

@BrianW1612 correct. I have the foamer and 3 others and I could just about do all 4 wheels at a push before pumping again.
I don't think Jon's used the Marolex pump sprayers. His IK ones are garbage in comparison as they take way longer to pump. Marolex has somehow made it so that a single pump gives twice the air compared to IK. Pump foamers however always need max air and therefore aren't great.

1) Drill a 7 or 8mm hole at the top of the pump sprayer bottle, pull a schrader car valve through it.
2)Fill and use a car compressor to inflate. (need to be careful not to over inflate, the valve should give anyway).
Maybe not for expensive sprayers, but well worth a try for 3L B&M / home bargainor tesco pump sprayers (if still in stock)
Not foaming but then Bilt hamber auto soap has little foam anyway

I've got the IK foamer with the valve on, I'm just going to get a cheap Temu battery compressor, they work pretty well and are small enough to cable tie to the side of the bottle. save me getting the workshop air line out to prime the bottle

Had one for about a month mine was from temu for 8 quid. Used for 4 washes so far, works great with bh Touchless, but need a second bottle filling to do a whole car. The falling over thing is stupid design, as is the USB port cover, I use a elastic band to keep it in place. All in alll pretty cool for the price, but will prob break soon🤣. Usually use a 2l kwazar venus which arguably gives a better foam but needs constant pumping.
This is also just more noise, I’d imagine my neighbours already love the sound of my pressure washer and mini blower 😂
Maybe for doing the underside of a vehicle this would be very handy
A bit off subject but I thought of you the other day jon. You know you’ve been talking about not paying for water with products, the more concentrated the better. I seen screen wash tablets and thought I wonder if any manufacturers will make car shampoo tablets for example and you just drop one in a bucket of water.

my IK foamer doesn't work as it should, it doesn't fan out, quite annoying
clogged most likely from calcified materials. Use DI water if you leave chemical in there.

£3.41 is insane to justify the numbers, even at £12, how can they produce a product(granted of limited quality), provide stickers and a charging cable with it and ship it half way round the world!
